The Curtis Gang

Madison's P.O.V.

I was actually excited for something today! I was nervous about meeting them, but at the same time I could get some friends. I had the second longest criminal record in town, everyone knew it, yet someone was willing to hang out with me. I don't know why, but I don't care. I kinda want some friends.

That afternoon Johnny and his friend, whose name was Ponyboy, met me in the lot. Ponyboy was the youngest Curtis brother, well that's what Johnny said. I don't know why, but I trust Johnny. Johnny said we should go to Pony's house before Darry got worried. Darry, I learned, was the leader of the gang and Pony's oldest brother.

When we got to the Curtis house I heard music from inside. I hesitated before following them. I decided to play the cool, tough girl I was like in crowds or when being interrogated. I had to look tough since I was a loner and a greaser. Socs sought out people like me.

~time skip~(cause some people like the book characters better than movie characters and vice versa. i don't feel like getting bothered about the descriptions and all that jazz.)

The Curtis Gang was pretty cool. Darry seemed pretty cool, even if he wasn't as fun-loving as some of the others. Two-Bit was a wisecracker, but was real cool. Pony, like Johnny, wasn't real outspoken. Pony said that three of the gang. Not five minutes after he said that two guys came in the door. I recognized them from the DX station. Steve and Sodapop. Now only one was missing. I couldn't wait to meet him after talking to the rest of the gang!
