"Catherine, Come on! Wake up girl!" Someone was disturbing my beauty sleep.

"Go away or I will rip your head off", I groaned burying my head under my soft pillow.

"Cat it's already half past eight and you have a meeting to attend with one of your clients at nine." The voice said making me wake up with a start. "OMG! Diana, why didn't you wake me up before!" I shouted at my long time best friend and roommate.

Diana and I share the same apartment in this busy New York City. She works as a manager in a good hotel in Manhattan while I own a landscaping business office in Manhattan named Createscape . I love my work which is creating beautiful landscapes in backyards and maintaining them.

"Hey! It's not my fault. I'm trying to wake you up from past 30 minutes but all you did was moan and groan." Diana shouted while going out of my room.

I jumped out of the bed and to my bathroom to take a shower.
I was ready to go wearing a simple but cute dress with flats and minimal makeup when the clock stroked 8:50. My office was just a 5 minute drive from my apartment, which was really helpful at times like this. I got in my black Chevrolet corvette stingray 2015 and drove off.

"I got it Miss Liliana. Leave it to us. We will do our best and your backyard will turn out just as you want it to. But I will have to see your backyard to see what we can do before we start any designing" I told my new client with a smile.

Liliana Costello smiled back and got up to leave. "Of course, This is the address of the house. You can take a look whenever you are free." She handed me a piece of paper with the address on it in beautiful handwriting. "I hope not to get disappointed." We shook hands and she was gone.

"Good morning Catherine." Amber, my assistant, said as she entered in my office.

"Amber, please take a seat. We got a new project to work on. Miss Liliana want us to design her backyard. This is a big project for us. She is willing to spend over 1 million dollars. We will have to do our best as this project can help us climb up the ladder in our business. We will have to plan a layout after taking a look at her backyard. She has given us the address." I told her.

"Whoa! She's spending a lot boss." She replied with a grin.

"Okay. Are there any other appointments for me today?"

"No. You are free for today boss. But you should take a look at the Smith's project. It is almost completed."

"Fine, let's go and see the backyard we have to work on first and then we can go to the Smith's." I said getting up from my chair and walking towards the door.

Amber nodded and we made our way towards my car. I inserted the address in the GPS and drove off.

When we reached the house, no, scratch that, in the mansion where we had to landscape, we were in awe. It was gigantic and outright stunning!

The Butler welcomed us inside when we told him that we were there to landscape.

I'm in a freaking palace! I thought looking left and right. While ogling the interiors I didn't notice the pillar on my way and collided with it head on. I literally saw stars.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch. My head!" I jumped while pressing tightly on the area that was in pain.

"Oh my God! Did that hurt ?" Amber asked.

"No, it felt fucking awesome! I am so gonna do it again. Why don't you try it?" I replied sarcastically with fake enthusiasm while rubbing my head .

She gave me a sheepish smile and hurriedly followed the Butler to the living room.

"Please sit and wait here. Madame Liliana will be here shortly." With this the Butler left the room. Shortly after Liliana arrived and motioned us to follow her to the widely spread backyard.

"Catherine you can take a look around and decide how you want to decorate this yard." Liliana said.

"Amber please snap the pictures of this yard and till that I will take a look around. You can join me when you are done," I said and went to observe the hall.

Amber came to me for discussing her ideas regarding landscaping the yard and that was when I heard a deep masculine voice at the entrance of the hall calling Liliana's name.
Liliana, who was busy with her iPhone till then, looked up with a huge grin and ran full speed towards the man and throwing her hands around his waist hugged him fiercely.

They were talking and laughing but I wasn't listening a thing 'cause I was really busy ogling the hot specimen.

He was perfect in my eyes! Aqua green eyes, chiselled jaw, kissable lips, sexy smile, tanned skin and jet black hair. His tight white shirt was not enough to hide the fact that he had rock hard abs under it.

I was snapped out of my dazed state when I felt Amber poke my side. She gestured towards Liliana. A blush bloomed on my cheeks when I realised that she was calling us to join them for a drink while I was in my fairyland.

I gave her a sheepish smile and followed the two out the hall. After all of us settled comfortably in the living room Liliana started the introductions.

"Angelo this is Catherine, the landscape designer and Amber her assistant and this is Angelo, my brother who will be doing all the payments." She said with a pleased grin.

"Hello, Mr. Costello." I said smiling and gave him a nod. He might have seen me ogling him in the hall, I thought feeling embarrassed.

I wanted to get out of there before I make further use of my humiliating talent in front of this sexy Greek god.
"Liliana, I would love to sit and have a drink but we need to be at one more house to look over the landscaping project there. It's almost completed. So if you don't mind, we will have to take our leave. But we will be back soon to start the designing." I said while standing up and smiling at her.

"Of course. I understand." She said smiling and stood up too. We followed her to the main door. I glanced back and saw Angelo walking behind us, hands in his pocket with a poker face on.

I got inside my car and Amber followed suit. Before pulling out the driveway I can't help looking one last time at Angelo. He held my gaze with a blank expression. Why is he acting kind of cold towards me when moments ago he was laughing with his sister. He definitely saw me ogling him. I thought mortified and sped off.
