The Unexpected List Right time Wrong place

on a trip to who knows where

''All People on the list must be at the trainstation at 6 o'clock sharp''. The lady on the television said. I wonder if Alice will be there to wave at me. I think while packing my stuff. I walk towards the door and look at the photo wall next to it for the last time. Lots of pictures of me and my mom and dad. The picture in the middle, we're all at the beach, the last picture that was taken of us when we were all together. My mom, where could she be. I look around me for a moment and then I walk outside. I shut the door and turn around to be greated with a little cat. ''Hello mister Mittens, what are you doing here this early''. I say as I kneel down to pet our neighbours cat on his head.'' I am going to the train station, would you like to walk with me?''. But before I even finished my question to the cat, he decides to run away, to god knows where. I start walking down the street towards the trainstation. I notice all houses being covered in festive decorations and such. When I arrive at the trainstation it is already very crowded and I try to make my way towards the train. ''Excuse me young lady, you will have to go to the administration first before entering the train''. I nod and search for the administration desk. They let me sign a form and then they make a picture of me in 2 different positions. Then they hand me a bracelet with the the code C1 on it. Well if this wasn't looking like prison already, it sure looks like one now. I think as I walk outside again. ''Skyler! over here!'' I recognise it's Alice's voice and I turn around to be greated with a hug. ''O gosh I'm gonna miss you so much, maybe even more then Josh.'' Alice says while hugging me tight. ''I'm gonna miss you to Al, just remember I will never forget our memories together!'' I say, almost tearing up. "All groups A to D must get into the train'',A voice coming out of a speaker says. ''I love you Al'', I kiss her on the cheek and turn around to make my way towards the train. Before I step inside I look around just one more time. Kind of hoping I would see my dad atleast waving at me, but I guess he is still asleep at home. So I get inside. I notice there are many signs with the same letters on them as my braclet and decide to look for C1. When I find C1 almost at the back of the train I smell a certain aftershave I recognise from somwhere. I turn around and bump into a large figure. I look into his eyes and then I know who it is. ''Avan... is that really you?'' I ask. His face looks directly at me and then there forms a big smile. ''Skysky!!'' He says hugging me so tight I almost can't breath. ''I didn't know you were on the list darling, how the hell did I get so lucky''. he looks at me with a smirk-ish grin. ''you have.. really.. eh.. grown up'', he says. ''You did to av, or should I say Mr Spookystories'' I say laughing at him. ''Hey, that name doesn't really fit my personality anymore!'''he says laughing at his old nickname I gave him''. ''So sky, how old are you now?'' he asks me while we walk into the C1 cabin of the train''. " just turned 17 last month'' I say. ''seventeen?! wow time go's so fast. I remember you being seven and asking me to stay up just a little bit longer, and wanting me to tell you another story before going to sleep.'' Avan says. ''The good old days, where my mom and dad would go out, and you would babysit me.'' I say while sitting down on one of the benches on the train. I look around and think to myself, this looks almost like we're going to hogwards. but a little different. ''what ya thinking of?, avan asks.'' ''Just how things used to be with my mom still home and my dad being normal.'' I sigh. ''Why did you leave Av? I mean I know you went to college and stuff but you could've atleast visited? I missed you''. I say while looking directly at avans face. ''sky you know I couldn't stay, even if I wanted to. '' he says with a comforting smile. I decide to lie down for a moment and place my head on his legs. He lets me lay down and strokes my hair like he used to do when I was little. For a moment there I found peace.

"lady's and gentelman, The train will leave in a few minutes''. Your bag's will have to be in the Bag cabin in the front of the train, so if you have not already placed it there you will have to do that dirrectly after this message. You have received a braclet with a number and letter on it. you will have to sit in that area for the first 8 hours of our journey. Each cabin will have a name checking, so just be there when your name is called. If there are any questions you can ask them to Richard. He will be in the A2 wagon if you need him. Have a safe trip.'' a lady's voice said trough a speaker.

''I haven't placed my bags in the bag wagon so I need to do that'' I say , while standing up to grab my bags. ''I'll come with you If you'd like? avan says looking at me concerned''. I just laugh at him '' No I'll be fine just on my own, I'm not a little girl anymore Av''. ''Alright, I'll be here if you need me'' I nod and walk trough the cabin doors. a short moment after giving my bags to a guy in the bag cabin I bump into someone. Not again I think to myself as I look up to be greeted with a familliar pair of blue eyes''. ''Sky,.. hey...so..ehm.. what group are you in? Cameron asks. I look at my bracelet and then show him, I'm in group C1, what about you?. ''well.. I'm in C2 so I guess I'll C ya around''. Cameron says while turning around again. ''C ya'' I say Laughing at his word pun I just copied. What a weird guy, I thought he would stick around as he usually does but now he just walks away after one question, weird...

I make my way back to wagon C and lay down on avans lap, what he doesn't seem to mind. I feel myself getting tired and ask Avan if he will say my name when they are checking the List. ''of course sky, try to rest a little'' avan says while stroking my hair. Then I slowly fall asleep.
