You walk down to the edge of the forest, waiting for Arthur.

" Hello Y/N." A familiar voice says from behind.

" Took you long enough." You smile, nudging him.

" Hey," Arthur says smirking, " look what I brought." He holds up a bottle.

" You did seriously?!?" An amused smile crosses your face, laughing.

" Well," Arthur crosses his arms over his chest, " when you gave me that look, I know you needed it." He nudges his horse forward. We continue down the trail for a while until we reach a fork in the road. Arthur dismounts off of his horse.

" What are you doing?" A confused look crosses my face.

" Well, he says tying his horse to a tree, " I was thinking that we could do something different." Arthur walks over to my horse, seeming a little bit nervous, holding him while I dismount.

You raise your eyebrow at him, " like...," you tie my horse to a tree.

Arthur takes his hand in mine saying, " Y/N M/N ( middle name) L/N, will you go on a date with me?" I look into his sapphire eyes, full of emotion. A blue so clear you can see the loss, regret, stress but also the happiness, and carefree Arthur I've grown to like no love.

" N/N ( nick name)?" Arthur's blue eyes still looking into my e/c ones.

A huge smiles breaks out onto your face, " yes." You chuckle, as his eyes light up, his hair becoming an even gold color in the sunset's rays.

" Ha!" He scoops me up, spinning me around in the air. A squeal escapes your lips, not expecting that reaction, but loving every second of it. Arthur set's you back down, a pink glaze lacing his cheeks.

You gasp, " is that what I think it is?!?" A devilish smirk appears on your face.

" No! No, that was not a way to treat a lady." He looks at the ground.

"Good thing I'm not a lady,
you rest your hands on your hips,
I'm a maid."

" Come on," Arthur grabs your hand, breaking into a run.

Arthur leads you down a secluded trail down the darkened, moon light trail. Rose petals start to sprinkle the trail, as we continue. Candle light reflect off the lake, flower petals float on lake. A rug is laying on the lake shore with two gold goblets and a picnic basket. Two gold plates are displayed, on the red and gold rug. You stop walking, Arthur turns around looking at you, when his eyes reach you. He grins from ear to ear. Your hands covers your smile, taking in what Arthur did for you. The blonde haired boy takes your little hand in his, leading you away from the woods, and towards the picnic with a devilish smile on his face.

" Art," you say, " this is beatuiful." You look around, adoring the rose pedals on the sand. He whispers something you can't hear, but continues to sit down.

Arthur's POV

Y/N looks around at what I set out for her. The candle light making her precious e/c eyes glow darker, but still illuminating a sparkle. She smiles at the ground, her H/L H/C falls slowly, as she sits down on the rug across from me.

" So, what is so bad about Adalaine?"

Y/N's POV

" So, what is so bad about Adalaine?" Arthur asks, the blue in his eyes becomes darker in the candle light.

I roll my eyes, " this morning she told me to look at her because ' it's rude not to look your surperiors.' Oh and when she let me go for the night she called me a simpleton." I say playing with my hands. Arthur's eyebrows knight together.

" Well," he clears his voice, " we're going to need to forget about today." He says, picking up the picnic basket. He puts on my plate a mix of veggies and meat. A confused look appears on your face.

" Is this what the knights eat." You laugh, not at him, simply with him.

" yes," he pauses, "that is what we eat." He points at the food.

" Hm," You say slightly amused, " I didn't know you guys have a special diet."

3rd person POV

Arthur and you eat the rest of your dinner, with a mixture of laughing, smiles, happiness. It was nice to get away from the castle.

" Sooo," you grab Arthur's hand, walking away from the rug, sitting down in the sand looking up at the stars. " What if you ran away?" You ask, turning to look at him, his eyes are big.

" Sometimes I think if I wasn't a prince what my life would be like, but I've never thought about running away. I don't think that's even a choice for me, if I ever thought about it." He shrugs. " What if you had magic, would you tell me?" He smirks, looking over at you. You turn back to the stars, thinking.

" Hmm, I don't know what I would do. You know I trust you but, hearing that might make the person harsh towards them, and you being prince you could put me in jail." You don't look at him. A star shoots across the sky," did you see that!" You sit up, looking at Arthur.

Merlin's POV

Arthur has been telling me about how much he wanted to ask Y/N on a date. Everyday I would listen to Arthur talk and talk about Y/N, so when he told me that he was going to ask her on a date today. I knew I had to do something special.

After the sun sets I look out the window, my eyes glow gold, I look up at the sky. Some shooting stars pass the lake above Arthur and Y/N.

1st  person POV

" See what?" He asks.

" The Shooting star!" I say, eyes glued to the stars above. The two of us sit for a moment or two looking at the sky. " My mom always told me to make a wish whenever you saw one." I smile at the memory.

" there," Arthur points at the sky" I saw one." He chuckles.

" Okay," I lay on my side, facing him, " you have to make a wish." You study the features of his face. His blonde hair falls right above his eyebrows, Arthur's cheekbones show even in the nighttime. His blue eyes still a shocking blue.

" Okay," Arthur says looking into your eyes, a smile crosses your face, " I wish Y/N M/N L/N would kiss me." He smiles. Heat rushes into your cheeks, a small laugh escapes your lips.

" Ok..." I get cut off with a pair of soft lips on mine . I immediately melt into the kiss. My hands tangle themselves in the prince's hair, as he wraps his arms around my waist.

I pull away from the blue eyed prince, his eyes still wide.

" Maybe I should look for shooting stars more often." Arthur smirks. I laugh, resting my head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. I close my eyes, the sound of his heat calming me.
