Keeping guard

(Barry's POV)

Over the next few days we all keep a look out for any meta's who might be related to the man who tried to hurt Iris. The meta was released to the police where he was charged with endangerment. Iris is always careful at her work now. She always keeps her guard and makes sure nobody comes in unless they have an appointment.

I sequence the DNA in my lab. My main focus on it. I sigh when I see that the sample doesn't match. Julian runs into the room.  "Barry, Caitlin's hurt!" He yells. I stop what I'm doing. "Where is she?" I ask. "Her phone says that she's on Courtland Avenue. I called her five times and she didn't answer." Julian's voice shake. I stand up and get my suit. "Please save her. I love her." His voice shakes. "Don't worry, I will." I tell him. I grab him and I run there.

My heart drops as soon as I see her. She's laying on the ground, bleeding. "Cait!" Julian screams. He runs to her and holds her. Her neck lays at an awkward angle. I feel tears fill in my eyes. She didn't deserve this. I can't even tell that she's alive. I walk over to her. Julian is sobbing. "Please cait, please. Don't leave me." He sobs. "I gotta get her to the hospital." I tell him. I hold her and get her to the hospital. Leaving her on the gurney and waiting for a doctor. When the doctor walks in, she looks horrified. "Her name is Caitlin Snow." I say and run away.
