"Hey what's your next class?" Brendon asked me in a hush tone.

"Um..I Have Study hall with Mrs. Nickels."

I looked up and saw him smiling at me

I suppressed my blushing and smiled back.

"Same here! awesome, can I see your schedule to compare it to mine?" I nodded and handed him my schedule. he looked it over with his grin growing as he looked it over.

"We literally have every class together! This is awesome!" I smiled and took my schedule back.

I can't believe I get to spend all day with Brendon, I hope he and I can be great friends, or even more. No Erica, don't think that way guys don't like you, your chubby and you have pale, pasty skin, and you have scars, no guy wants that.

"Erica you alright?" Brendon put his hand on my back and rubbed, fuck why does he do this to me. I got chills and shook a bit.

"y-yeah, sorry I zoned out a bit."

Brendon smiled and I noticed he didn't move his hand the rest of class, but I have to admit I liked it. we walked to Mrs. Nickels and sat in the back of the room.

"so study hall, can we do anything in here?" Brendon asked looking at me

"basically, she doesn't really care, I mean, this study hall goes until lunch so she kinda zones out."

Brendon shook his head and moved His desk closer to mine and looked down with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Erica, was something wrong earlier? you were mumbling and saying people don't like you.."

I frowned and looked down.

"I just zone out sometimes and I mean it true I only have like one friend, and that's Ryan."

Brendon lifted my chin with his hand and looked me in the eye

"I want to be your friend, so now you have 2 friends, I think you're pretty, smart and you seem funny." I tried to hide my blush but he saw it and smiled

"and I have seen you blush and its so cute."

wow, Brendon's a forward kind of guy huh.

I smiled and nodded "thank you Brendon. I think the same about you."

Brendon cracked a big smile

"so you think I'm pretty?" he laughed and put a cheesy grin on and took his hand from my face, I immediately missed the warmth.

"um i-i mean no, like your um handsome."

he just chuckled and smiled

"I was kidding, Erica, its okay." I smiled.

I think I want to invite him over to hang out later. yeah I was going to before school ended.

the rest of the day went on and Brendon and I had learned a lot about each other

His favorite color is dark blue, he played baseball as a kid and now he's into music. I learned a lot about him, more than I think I know about Ryan, and we have been friends awhile. Brendon also learned about me, my favorite color is purple, I like bands, I love to draw and I told him about my dad passing when I was young, and even more. he was like a new best friend.

"oh Erica, I'm so sorry." Brendon hugged me after I told about my dad I smiled and gladly hugged back, it was the lat period of the day and I still have yet to ask about having out later.

"um hey Bren, (cute nicknames already!) I was wondering if you wanted to come over after school and hand out?" he smiled widely and shook his head

"I'd love to Erica, actually let's go now the bell just rang."

whoa it did? I didn't hear, I was kind of lost in Brendon's eyes ha I'm so stupid.

we walked to my bus, and yes I am 17 years old and can't drive yet.

"hey let's take my truck well get there faster and have more time to hang out." I nodded and followed him as he walked to his small 2-door pick up truck with a short bed. I liked it it was midnight blue with black leather seats.

"so where's your house?"

I told him direction and soon enough he pulled in into my drive.

"we have like 4 hours til my mom gets home so I mean we can do any thing, party, get drunk or high?" I laughed hard as I unlocked my house and stepped in

"you better be kidding because, I don't want you hurting your self with that shit." he ha a serious tone and looked at me worryingly, wow he cares a lot huh.

I smiled at him

"don't worry I don't do it."

I nodded and pulled out my phone I usually have texts from Ry, but I don't so I just walked back to my room and plugged it in and sat on my bed. Brendon came behind and had snacks in his hand, guess he brought some. hmm.

"I hope you like spray cheese. cause I got a whole can!"

I giggled and shook my head yes and he came sat next to me and set the crackers and spray cheese down.

"this is going to be fun, i get to learn about you more." he put his hand on my back, again i blushed and I turned from him and hid my face.

"hey Erica,  its okay, it cute when you blush." he smiled and rubbed my back I turned to him and smiled with an even redder blush "sorry I just um I'm awkward around people, especially guys." I looked down and played with my hands.

"don't be nervous, I like you Erica, I won't hurt you or try and make you feel awkward." he then took my hand in his and leaned in ever so slightly and hugged me then he pulled back and put his hands on my cheeks and kissed me softly, it was one a peck, but damn it felt like a shock through or lips, I definitely wanted to kiss him more...
