I was flying; flying amongst an ever-growing field of pale blue surrounding my every thought. I couldn't think, all I could focus on was the unimaginable wonder I was experiencing at this very moment. Clumps and mounds of splendor (marshmallow fluff) encompassed me. Making me feel trapped and confined in a welcoming solitude. I stopped moving and this overwhelming sense of calm invaded my every sense. I was in complete serenity and I never wanted to leave and return back; this warmth couldn't last for an eternity however.
Almost instantly a demonic blackness surrounded me. The splendor morphing into pure personified fear and doom. I couldn't see, I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe. Then all pain ceased and a light opened up towards my eyes. I reached out for the enlightenment. Every muscle in my body straining to reach the magic I almost had within my petrified grasp. Then suddenly I lost control of my already frail body and I was plummeting; plummeting downwards to something I didn't know. This fear I felt enveloped my body again and I was terrified. I needed something anything.
Fading quickly I couldn't even muster the strength to utter let alone scream for help. It was useles; every attempt was futile. They were all in vain and there was nothing I could do to stop this. The pressure on my body was frantically becoming extortionate and I wanted to flail my limbs for dear life but I simply couldn't. It felt as if I was drowning, but what in I didn't know. I begrudgingly accepted this cruel fate goddess had laid out for me as I neared the bottom of whatever it was I was falling into. I barely braced myself for the deathly pain I was going to feel upon my decimated skin and most likely bones. It was unbearable I couldn't take it any more I just wanted to die...
And that's when I woke up.
I was magnificently saved by my normally aggravating alarm bell. I reached over with a shaky body and turned it off. I was still petrified. I was drenched in sweat and my eyes swiftly darted to every corner in the room. My gaze did not leave any place untouched. I unwrapped myself from my now wet covers and sat up. I looked to my left and almost had a heart attack. Staring back at me was a hideous beast. Eyes heavy and red and hair all destroyed all tousled and, oh wait that's just me. Crap. I really need to get ready for the last day of school. Truly I just wanted to bunk just to get back into the right thinking mind but there was no way my parents or the school would allow this. It's not like I'm Mr popular in school. I'm barely noticed; not like that's a bad thing. It's quite the contrary for myself. I'm extremely socially awkward and anxious.
This is usually unheard of for werewolves. They're usually extroverts. Well I guess I'm just a special breed. I'm just a walking mistake maybe I should just kill myseWOAH. Calm down Wynter that is not the right mind set I should have for the last day of school.
I agonisingly slowly crawled out of my single bed. ( I really need a bigger one but there's no way in hell my parents would get me one) and dragged my feet to my ensuite bathroom. I looked in the mirror and cringed again at the ungodly sight before me. I tried to block out those thoughts as I briskly splashed freezing water on my face and chest. Maybe that would make me look a bit better. Probably not.
I took out my toothbrush and toothpaste from its holder and started to squeeze just the right amount on the brush. It seemed I didn't know my own strength again as I squeezed almost the whole tube onto my hand again. Why do I do this to myself. I just licked it off and then spat it back into the sink. My teeth weren't in bad condition anyway. They were actually more or less pleasing to look out. At least my breath won't actually smell like a disease now. (I'm a disease.)
Stepping into my bedroom after showering I threw the towell around my waist onto my bed, leaving a crumpled mess on the thing I called my bed. I may be part wolf but I shouldn't be treated like one... I slumped. No literally slumped over to my wardrobe and pulled out whatever combination of t-shirt and jeans I saw first. Luckily it didn't look too bad. Black skinnies with a red and white t-shirt. It looked alright.
