It was the first day of practice and I was thrilled. It has been a week of school and it went by in a blur as I anticipated this day. I quickly pulled up to the school with a huge grin on my face.
"What's wrong with you," Tyler asked giving me a weird look.
"Soccer Ty. Soccer," I said excitedly as I jumped out of the car.
"Wow, there flash. Wait for me," Carter yelled behind me and I spun around. My dress flew with me and I stumbled in my wedges. It was picture day and I had actually done my makeup this morning.
"Sorry," I apologized and walked with him to the front of the school.
"You look nice," Carter complimented and I thought I saw a blush but quickly took that off my mind.
"Thank you but I'm not excited to take it off for soccer," I answered with a slight groan as we reach the lockers.
"Why's that," he asked as we grabbed our stuff from our lockers.
"Because it's going to take forever," I answered and he laughed.
"I'll see you at lunch," he waved as he left for his class.
I started my way towards my class when someone stepped in front of my path.
"Hey there Mad," said Holden, the royal dick face of our school.
"Not interested," I answered as I pushed past him but he grabbed my arm. I easily got it away and kept walking.
"Nice ass Taylor," he remarked but I kept walking. I didn't know what was going on but I didn't like it.
The classes flashed by until it was finally lunch. I quickly arrived in the cafeteria but I couldn't spot Carter.
I went and grabbed my lunch and walked over to where we always sat. Outside by the big oak tree. But dickwad stepped in front of my path again.
"I don't think it's fair that Carter gets to sit with you every lunch," Holden said getting really close to my face and I step back.
"I don't think it's fair how you treat girls but I'm not fucking saying anything. So get out of my face Holden," I answered staring him hard in the eyes.
"Make me princess," he challenged and I smirked which sent confusion into his face.
I sent my leg up directly into his crotch. He bent over and groaned loudly. People around us began laughing but I just kept going to Carter.
"Hey C," I greeted Carter sitting down next to him.
"Hey Mads," he said quietly and he seemed distracted.
"What's up with you," I asked taking a bite out of my sandwich.
"Did you just kick Holden in the balls," he asked looking at me with a smile.
"Well of course," I answered and he started laughing and I joined in. I explained to him what happened and that made him laugh even harder. When he laughed his glasses fell to the tip of his nose and I instinctively fixed them.
"Do you want to go to the movies tonight. The new Spiderman movie just came out," He asked taking a bite out of his burrito.
"After soccer, I can," I answered leaning against the tree.
"Lit... When is it over?" He asked.
"I'm pretty sure six," I said quickly sending a text to Tyler telling him to take my car home. He wasn't sixteen yet but he'll have to deal.
"Ok sounds good," he answered and we talked until it was the end of lunch.

It was after soccer and I quickly gathered my things so I could go shower off in the locker room. I saw Carter in the distance and gave him a short wave.
