                                                         CHAPTER 1- Meeting My Family

 

        I   was walking to  the coffee shop to meet my family. When I was in front of the shop I smelt Werewolves. When I opened the door I saw half of the pack on the left side stiffen from the smell of vampire , even though I'm a hybrid , but I made my vampire scent stand out a bit. While they were looking at me I went to the right side of the store were it was empty. They slowly went back to talking. Okay let me tell you about myself. My name is Katie Moore. I have a big family. I have three older brothers and a dad. My mom died after a year of torture by demons. We tried finding her but we never could. I'm the odd one of the family I have midnight black hair and  have a clear face with big green/yellow/brown eyes. I also have tattoos on my arms. I was born with them. They are vines going down my arm. I have plump red lips and I have curves all in the right places so in other words I look like a goddess and thanks to my mermaid I have a face that looks like a professional did my makeup. In human years I'm 18 but in Hybrid years I'm 181. I'm a hybrid of an Angel, Werewolf, Vampire, Witch, Mermaid, Fairy, and a Demon(but  a good demon not a bad one). I also have a bad temper. I have Three older brothers. The oldest is named Adam Moore. He has black hair with a bulky body. He is slightly tan and slightly pale. He has yellow/brown eyes and a clear face with a slight stubble on his face . He is considered the hot brother. He is 22 in human years and 195 in hybrid years. He is an Angel, Werewolf, Vampire, and a Warlock(a male witch). The second oldest is Eric Moore. He has brown spiky hair that stand up naturally and he is pale with a bulky body and he is the responsible and smart one. He has brown/red eyes with a clear face.  He in human years is 18 and in hybrid years is 190. He is a Angel, Werewolf, Vampire, and a Warlock. The last brother is Jake Moore. He  has brown hair and is tan with brown/green eyes and has a bulky body. He is considered the prankster. In human years he is 18  but in hybrid years he is 190. He is a Angel, Werewolf, Vampire, and a Warlock.  Then there is my Dad, he is very handsome and kind but you do not want to mess with him. He has brown hair that curves over, he has grey/brown eyes, he has a clear face with a slight stubble. He is 30 in human years but in hybrid years he is 400. He is a Angel, Werewolf, Vampire, Warlock and a Demon. Adam has a mate, her name is Amy . She is a vampire. She has blonde hair and brown/black eyes and is slightly pale. She has pink plump lips and a clear face with no freckles and straight teeth. In human years she is 20 but in vampire years she is 189. She has one son named Zach and another child on the way. She is 3 months pregnant. Zach is three years old and he has blonde hair with dark brown/yellow eyes with a clear face except a couple of freckles. He is a Angel, Werewolf, Vampire.  Wow, I thought, I just gave myself a history lesson of my family. Just then I felt another presence in front of me. It was my brother Eric. "What do you want?" I said. "I can't just hang out with my baby sister" Eric said. " Ugh , When is the family coming anyway?" I said. "Well Jake is coming in a couple of minutes and dad is coming after Adam and Amy come and your pack is coming tomorrow." he said. "So its family day!!?!!" I asked very happily because I value family very much. " Yes, and I see your happy and  those wolves keep staring at us" Eric said. "I think there staring at us 'cause were very pretty" I said. " Nahh I think there staring at us cause they mostly smell our vampire scent" Eric said. " Oh my you think" I said with sarcasm. Just then Jake walked in and walked over to us and sat in the booth." Jake, tell Katie to stop messing with me" Eric whined. " But it is fun to mess with you" Me and Jake said. Then we look at each other and said "Stop that". Then we both slumped in our sits and said " Forget it". Eric just look at us amused." Oh so you think this is funny ?" I asked with a murderous face. Eric looked scared 'cause I can be scary when I want to." No, no  its not funny anymore" Eric said." hmmh" I said happily. Just then everything became quiet and Adam, Amy and Zach came through the door." Zach " I squeal and ran to him and pick him up and spinned him around ." Hehe Hi Katie hehe" Zach laughed and squealed. I stopped in front  of where Eric and Jake sat, by then Adam and Amy were standing in front of them. I put Zach down and hugged Amy who was laughing at me and Zach." Hi Katie, " Amy said. " Hi Amy, Glad your here, I need some ladies with me" I said. Then I pulled away. " Oh so you forget about me, that is just mean" Adam said dramatically" I was saving the best for last " I joked. Then I jumped on Adam, but with his vampire skill, he caught me. "I missed you so so much" I said." I missed you to little sis" He said. Me and Adam were the closest in the family before me and Jake. Then I pulled back and  squatted in front of Zach." So how you been little man?" I said. " Oh I made friends at daycare and mommy and daddy got me a bicycle to learn how to ride" Zach said excitedly. " Really, that's so cool" I said, only then did I notice that Amy, Adam, Jake , and Eric were looking at me." What?" I asked confused." Nothing, just that you are great with kids" Amy said. "How?" I asked curiously." You get him to do anything you say" Adam says. "what do you mean ?" I asked confused. " Like if I asked him to do his bed he complains and it doesn't get done till about a hour later, but if you told him to do his bed he complains one time then does it in about 5 minutes, I just don't get it" Amy said. " She  always had a thing for kids" Jake said. Then did we notice the people on the other side of the shop was quiet. We looked at them to see them staring at us. So I did the only thing possible, I stood up and said " Hello fellow people". They all looked at me weirdly, then one stood up and walked to me. He was hot ,he had spiky hair and tan skin with brown/yellow eyes and a strong jaw line. He also smelt like cherries but then I smelt pine woods with axe. Huh, I thought, I smell my mate on him, (although I smelt my mate I didn't say anything).   " Uhhh, Who are you and why are you here?"  the person who stood up said." I won't say anything till you tell me your name because I  can't keep calling you person who talked to me" I said and I heard a few chuckles around me." I'm Devion the Beta of the StarMoon pack" Devion said." Cool, I'm Katie Moore and I'm soon to be alpha and that tall guy over there is my brother  and Beta Adam and his mate Amy and there son Zach" I said." Hey" Amy, Adam, and Zach said all at once. Devion look confused when I said I was soon to be alpha because I still have only my vampire scent on." How, you are a vampire?" Devion asked, at this most of the wolves growled at me. " Because I'm not only vampire and -- wait you don't hate me?" I said/asked. At this he smiled," No, I don't judge beforehand because not all vampires are evil or bad and what do you mean your not only vampire, I only smell vampire?" Devion said confused. I looked behind me and said to my brothers and Amy " I already like this boy". At this they laughed. Then I turned back around," I'm part werewolf too so you people growled your own kind, and before you asked I made my scent only vampire to see if you were a nice pack or mean one, also  my dad already asked your alpha to say here for a while." I said in one breath but it wasn't like I had to breath, thanks  to being a vampire." Not to be rude but were kind of having family time since were always busy so buy" I said then turned around to my family and sat down. Once I heard his footsteps walk away I started talking. "I like him, we are so going to be friends" I said. " Yeah I like him to, he didn't judge you like most wolves would of" said Eric. I  pick up my coffee and started thinking about who my mate was." Is he your mate?"  Amy asked. I spitted my coffee in Eric's face and started coughing with Jake patting my back, everyone was so startled they stopped talking and stared at me as I was coughing. " man not again" Eric whined as he was wiping the coffee off his face. Once I was finished coughing  I answered her," No, why would you think that ?" I said." Because you had a thoughtful look on your face after he left, so I assumed" Amy said." I was thinking of their pack name, and I smelled my mate on him" I said. "Do you know who your mate is?" Jake asked." I think it is their alpha, because he is beta so he was probably with the alpha" I said. " You know what, that is a good  idea" said Eric. After that we were left to our thoughts. Just then the whole shop was quiet and the door slammed open. There stood our dad with a powerful aura around him.
