"Sign the contract." The usual voice said through the small panel in the door, sliding it just enough for the echo of words.

"I would never," I respond and then they close the small panel sliding it closed walking away. Continuing elsewhere.

Routine.

This has happened for a week now. In this small room that has been now considered my own. There isn't much to do. The room was small, with a bed pushed against the top left corner, a couch in the right, the door in the bottom right, and the bottom left is a desk filled with papers. One being that dreadful contract. I refused to read it. I refuse to even touch it, because I don't know morals? I've tried ripping it up but it always returns the next day sat on that very desk. With the ballpoint pen with the large block letters and written on it : Sanctus.

I've tried my best to destroy almost everything in the room. With not much success, so I've sat and drearily going by. The first three days were the hardest and the next four I went in such a dreamy state. They feed me and they cloth me. Give me all the essentials. I don't really accept it. I tried starving myself but overall I did end up just eating the food anyway. Doesn't mean I won't give them attitude! Or well...Be slightly rude. It's their jobs they probably have no clue what they are actually doing. I hope.

I take the ballpoint pen and twirl it in my hand for a bit. Round and round, such an easy thing to do. I take the dumb contract of paper and crumble it in my hand. I throw it against the wall, it was fun while it lasted. I go back to twirling the pen because why not? There's not much more for me to do. I sleep, that is the other thing. I throw the pen aside and allow myself to sleep. I wake up, the contract is back. A trey of food, biscuits with oatmeal and syrup. They had nice food from time to time. The smell alone would make it hard for you to try and starve yourself, you know what I mean?

I eat and sit on the couch. Now just have to wait a little for them to come back and try for me to sign the contract. Not going to happen.

The panel doesn't open, however, the entire door itself opens. Sophie waves to me and I realize I've hit the stage in isolation of hallucinating. That's never good.

"Zayn, stop being a little shit. We gotta go," Sophie yells.

"Sure, hallucination Sophie. Sure." I respond, the people watching me must thing I'm insane.

"Fuck you," She snaps and walks over to me grabbing me by the ear. Forcing me forward, that's pain and that's a lot of pain. "Don't have time for your fucking jokes, little shit."

"Hey!" I yell, "Ow. What the hell?"

"What the hell? Really? Fuck you," She states harshly. "Might as well say thanks, got you out of there. It looks as though I'm too late, you're as crazy as that guy from Split."

She puts a hand to her forehead and shakes her head in disapproval.

"First of all,  that guy had multiple personality disorder. Second, what do you mean you got me out?" I asked, she shrugged.

"When you start your own anime, you always have to remember loyalty. If you don't you get killed by an ax to the face, always remember this. Always." She says bluntly before walking down the corridor she launched me in. I followed suit.

"You're not in your own anime," I tell her.

"Should've left you in the weird room," She retorted and I cross my arms.

"How would you like it if you went back to your small isolation room?" I said angrily, she looked to me with slight pity before looking ahead of her again.

"I didn't get a room," She said softly. "If your counterpart was already here you didn't go in the room. You could've been let out of the room...If you signed the dumb contract."

"Why? Why would you do that?" I questioned her angrily.

"Calm your tits, for one second okay?" She asked and I rolled my eyes, "Don't worry about it right now. Your out, hurrah! You fucking happy now? I didn't sign it, my counterpart is already here. He's a lot cooler than you by the way."

"Rude. So, who else has a counterpart here?" I ask, she sighs.

"Brunette Jaiden, I heard blonde Jayden also had one but I've only seen brunette. Vincent, obviously, he's in the medical wing. I haven't seen anyone else that we know, so.." She trailed off and we entered a cafeteria looking area.

Jaiden (Brunette) waved to us as she snacked on her food.

"Did you get breakfast?" She asked, I nodded. "Weird. Anyway, glad your out. Everyone else should be soon."

"Not all of us are counterparts...Right?" I asked, Jaiden paused in thought.

"No, Deigo wasn't but can you consider him part of the group?" Jaiden said and then was interrupted by Sophie.

"No! Devil child, I tell you." She hissed, Jaiden rolled her eyes and continued.

"I don't think Raina, Adam and Joseph are here but they're being tested..." She trailed off, both girls seemed to be doing that a lot.

"Wait, Jayden's counterpart is also here. Why isn't she with you guys?" I asked, both went into an awkward silence.

"Okay, Jaiden I leave the floor to you." Sophie poked Jaiden, she nodded and took a deep breath.

"She's been put into holding." Jaiden informs, uncomfortably trying to avoid the conversation.

"Wait, why?" I asked, she looked to Sophie who gave her a frantic expression.

"Okay, well. Jayden's counterpart escaped Sanctus, he's the one with the stronger emotions. I shouldn't say escaped, actually I should say was expelled from Sanctus. He had...He had killed a staff member here on questionable reasons, none disclosed to us. They have Jaiden currently because they want to get him back and..He's been stirring up some trouble currently." She sighed looking away from us.

"Trouble?" I said questioning what it meant, what kind of trouble?

"Trouble as in, he's looking for something that we don't know but we do know it's bad. If you know what I mean," She said.

"Not at all." I responded.

"Okay, I can't really explain it. I can explain how Vincent got into his coma?" She requested instead, I nodded. "Well. Jayden's counterpart, Miron, had the overwhelming feeling of betrayal for Sanctus. That betrayal was then as well wired into Jayden, making her irritable...She didn't know why she felt betrayal but she took action, the first thing she did was push Vincent into traffic."

Both girls looked down somberly.
