    I sat on my bed while looking out of the window,it's so bright out there. I bet it's hot too,how can people even survive such heat? I'd rather stay home and enjoy myself in here. I took another sip from my almond milk.

   "Alice Thornesway!" My mother called me by my full name. Am I in trouble again? I walked down our marble staircase. "Yes?" I asked.

   "Can you run me an errand? Just buy me some salt at the mearby store" She pleaded,she knew that I hated going outside. "The nearby store? But it's so hot out there" I whined.

  My mum pushed me outside without a word. I ran to a nearby shade and made my way to the store while avoiding contact from sunlight. Other teenagers were playing tag.

"Hi,can I have some salt?" I asked,handing the money. "You must be Lucy's daughter,you're very beautiful." The old store lady complimented while handing me the salt.

Thank you and bye! I said and dashed back to my house. I finally reached our house and gave my mother the salt. I walked back up the marble staircases and laid on my bed.

   I woke up from my accidental nap,my brunette hair was surprisingly smooth,maybe it was my silk pillows that I recently bought. I rolled over to reach for my laptop. I sat up and started scrolling through Tumblr.

   Some memes were funny but some were also offensive. I smelled lemongrass coming from downstairs. I peeked and mother was just cooking. I thought it was something special,besides I ran out of all my lemongrass perfumes.

   Second year of college starts 2 to 3 weeks from now. I'm not ready for it. I don't have that much of close friends and I surely won't find one. All hope is gone. College is going to be brutal. Some even spread rumors that I did drugs. I groaned at the thought of it.

    The sky was starting to go dark. I love the night. I laid on our balcony hammock and watched the sunset. It was relaxing to watch sunsets. Finally, the night took over. I watched as the kids went back to their houses. It's always peaceful to watch the stars with the cold breeze.

     I sat on our dinner table while waiting for my dinner to be served. My thoughts drifted to college once more. I bet more rumours will spread. I ate my dinner quietly and went to bed. Sleep was all I always needed whenever I'm worried.

   "Hello!" I greeted my parents energetically. I took a seat and poked my mum playfully. "We were waiting for you,I bet that you had a great dream." She teased. "How did you know? Did dad invent something that can read dreams?" I joked. "Of course not! That would be quite useless if you would just use it for your own dreams." Dad exclaimed.

    I munched on my breakfast. "Have you fixed your things for college?" Mum asked. "Oh wait,I haven't. Can I fix it later?" I suggested. "Sure,as long as you do it before you go outside. "But I need to be tanned!" I whined while pointing at my pale skin.

    My parents just chuckled and continued on eating. "Go fix your things now. You'll go meet your friends at the park today." Dad said. "Okay." I replied while glancing out of the window. It's so fun out there.

    I was fixing my things when my dog came in barking. "Perkins,don't be too noisy. Mum and dad might scold you again." I warned. She sat down and wagged her tail on my face. I giggled and placed her in a luggage bag that I left open.

   Finally,I finished fixing my things. I laid down in the floor while my dog licked my cheeks. I took a drink from my apple juice while wiping off the saliva from my cheeks.

"Dad,I'm done!" I shouted for him to hear. "Okay,you can go outside now." He said. I jumped and took my dog with me. I skipped down the pavement while my dog ran after me. I finally reached the park.

"Hi,friends!" I greeted enthusiastically. They all waved back with excited smiles. I approached my closest friend,Sydney Worthington. "Hi,Sydney" I greeted. "Oh hello, we were waiting for you. We wanted to go to a supermarket to buy some fruits for Jacob's sick mother." She said. "Oh dear,let's go then." I insisted.

We walked to a nearby supermarket. My dog stayed beside the same cashier. I smelled something that caught my attention. "Peaches!" I exclaimed and ran to the peach station and started grabbing the newest ones.

"Peaches again? Don't you have millions of that in your house?" Sydney asked. "Of course not, I finished eating the last set of peaches last Monday." I answered. I have grown to love peaches. We used to have a farm in the province and I always stayed there when I was 5.

"Alright,let's go back. You might turn into a peach" Sydney joked while pulling my blonde hair from the peach station. "Are you guys done?" I asked while throwing a peach inside our group's cart. "Yeah,let's go pay." Daphne,one of my friends, answered and pushed the cart.

    I rubbed the back of my dog while we walked down the pavements. I glanced to my left and I spotted Alice Thornesway. I always passed her at school but we barely talked. Many people think that she brings drugs to school to trade it with the higher years,but I don't think that she would ever do that.

    "Hey,look it's Alice." Daphne pointed at her. "She actually goes outside? I never see her anywhere but school." Jacob sarcastically remarked.I punched him square in his stomach. "Can you not speak of her like that? Maybe,she hates going outside because of the unbearable weather." I explained. "You're right." Sydney added.

"I should head home now,my parents might need help." I said. "Aww,but it's still 4 in the afternoon." Daphne whined. "Exactly,that's why I should go now." I replied and waved them goodbye. I skipped down the pavement back to my house while my dog rested on my arms.

"I'm home!" I shouted for them to hear. "So,what did your friends do?" My dad asked while looking at the bag of peaches I was holding. "We just went to the supermarket to buy some fruits for Jacob's sick mother." I answered and took a bite from a peach.

I fell down on my bed. I was quite tired. I watched the sunset. I immediately missed the morning sun. My dog sat beside me and yawned. "Let's go eat dinner then we can go to bed." I said and walked down stairs and started eating my dinner.

    My parents showere me with jokes and bants before I went to bed. My dog slept beside me. Another day has passed.
