Confusion?

"Phoebe, your looking beautiful today as always" Sharon, the radio presenter greeted me.

"I hear your bringing out a new album?" Sharon asked.

"Well, I everyone has been asking me if I could bring out an album." I said, truthfully.

"This will be your first?"

"Yes, I'm really nervous."

"Will you be writing your own songs."

"Oh no. I couldn't write a song to save my life."

Sharon laughed. "So, how are you going to produce your music?"

"Well, I have a very good friend and she has been writing music and stories since we went to school together which was about... erm... we met when we were twelve... erm... god... I got an A star in Maths as well. Right I am seventeen... so five years."

"Got there in the end."

Sharon and I both laughed.

"Yeah, so Rachel is going to help me piece together my music, but I will be contributing towards it." I said.

"Have you got any music in the running?"

"Well erm... I have an idea of writing a song about bullying... it will be called Believe... I think... it's for all the people out there including me who have experienced bullying, I'm sure almost everyone has experienced bullying in the past."

"So,Phoebe loads of people have tweeted asking the same thing, can you tell us about Nathan?" Sharon asked.

"Nathan? What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"Nathan Sykes?"

"Oh, him. Yeah, but what do you mean? I am really confused."

"So you aren't dating Nathan Sykes from The Wanted?" Sharon asked, just as confused.

"Well, no. I am a big fan of The Wanted but I haven't actually met them in person."

"So to clear it up with everyone..." Sharon paused.

"There is nobody in my love life at the moment. I'm just a singleton at the moment!" I said.

"Well, everyone you heard it first from Phoebe herself. She is free... and ready to mingle."

I couldn't help but laugh.

"So what song are you going to cover for us today?" Sharon asked.

"Someone Like You, by Adele."

"Any reason why?"

"I have loved this song since it first came out."

"Okay, this is Phoebe singing Someone Like You!" Sharon shouted into the microphone.

The music started and I closed my eyes.

When the music stopped I re-took my seat.

"That was just beautiful. You have a voice of an angel."

"Thank you."

"No, thank you ever so much for coming down today to talk to us." Sharon said.

"It was my pleasure." I said.

Sharon pressed a botton and The Wanted Heart Vacancy came on.

"That was unexpected and uncalled for." Sharon said to me as she pulled me into a hug.

"Thanks for having me Sharon."

"Your welcome. Can't wait to hear Believe. Sorry about all that confusion about Nathan Sykes."

"Don't worry, it happens." I shrugged.

"Everyone's right about you, heart of gold. You are one of the nicest people I have met."

"Thank you. The pleasure is all mine." I joked.

I hugged Sharon once more before I left the studio.
