The floor was freezing from where She had been shackled. It had been hours maybe days since they had left her in that room. She couldn't remember. Her body supported numerous injuries that she had given up counting. She actually had hoped that the guards would come back. She didn't want to go wherever they were taking her. But then she tried to reasoned with herself. Anything was slightly better then freezing, being alone and fearing what was to come. She didn't know what would happen if she was called. Where would she go? What would they force her to do? Why was she brought here? Who were these mysterious people who seemed to be the highest rank? These were just some of the questions floating in her head. She didn't know the answers to her questions. But she'd figure it out. She was worried and nervous of the unknown but she found the bravery and courage inside of her. It flowed through her veins and gave her the strength she needed. She wouldn't give up. She wouldn't back down. She may come out broken but she would end up victorious. She kept telling herself these lines and it gave her the hope she needed. One day she promised herself. One day I will be free. I will open my wings and soar high into the sky. No one can stop me. For my name is Katherine.
