I entered the apartment about two hours later expecting Logan and Vanessa to be on the couch talking but instead it was just Logan on the couch playing with Kong.

"Hey, you're back." Logan said looking up at me.

"Yeah.. Where's?" I asked.

"She left about 15 minutes ago" Logan replied.

"Are you okay?" Logan asked concerned.

"Yeah, i'm fine." I assured.

I took Kong away from Logan and started playing with him.

"Hey!" Logan said.

Next thing I know pain shot through my arm. "Oww, idiot."

Logan stuck his tongue out like a child and took Kong back from me.

"My doggie." He said.

"So I was wondering." Logan said looking at me.

"Yes?" I asked.

"The event i'm going to, will you be my plus one?" He asked.

"No." I replied.

"No?" He repeated.

"No." I said once again.

"Why not?" He whined.

I stood up from the couch and walked away only to have Logan pull my arm as I fell and landed on his lap.

"So no?" He whispered seductively in my ear.

I gulped. My cheeks were red like a tomato, my heartbeat faster and faster I was almost certain he could hear it.

"Fine." I narrowed my eyes at him.

"That's my girl." He said smirking then letting go of my hand.

I don't think it's not normal for my heart to be beating the fast.

I bought a beautiful navy blue lace dress which reached about mid thigh for the event.

And a pair of black pumps.

"Ayla! You ready?" Logan shouted from outside the bathroom

I looked at myself in the mirror while applying blush on my cheeks. I kept my makeup to a minimal.

Looking at myself one last time in the mirror i tuck a strand of hair behind my ear and walked out of the bathroom.

Logan was checking his watch when he turned around and faced me. He eyed me from head to toe and I felt my heartbeat fasten.

"You look...  stunning." Logan complimented.

"You don't look too bad yourself." I complimented.

"Shall we?" He said as I placed my hand on his arm.
