'If only, if only,'
I think to myself
I put the book
Back on the shelf
A fairy tale-
Always so sweet
There's no malice here
No pain, no deceit
Ok, maybe a little
But in the end
In the end, they're happy again
I wish life was so simple, ha, for sure!
Our worries gone, our pain all cured!
'If only, if only,'
I think, shaking my head
But I know, deep down,
I prefer this life, instead
