No matter what I think
Even if I'm on the brink
Between
Pain and sadness
Laughter and hate
I know that I'll have
A happier fate
They say it gets better
I sure hope it does
Because right now, it's torture
For both of us
But I know
We'll find peace someday
Because peace
Is not too far away
