A World's End

Chap. 1

*Zacherys 's View*

I wake up in the middle of nowhere in an old forest. I look around wondering where the heck I am and how the heck I got here.

I try to get up but see my leg is caught in what appears to be a net trap. I wriggle around and get out. "Where am I?" I mumble to myself.

I see something rustle in the bushes and go for a sharp rock on the floor. "Let's see what you are," I say to myself. A wolf jumps out of the bush and onto me. "Gahhhh!" I shout as I stab it's neck with the rock. I take deep breaths and see a few cuts on my arm. Nothing serious. I look at the dead wolf body and leave it. I'm sure there's someone around if this trap was here.

I began to walk around the area searching for some kind of path. And that's when I see it, a huge beast covered in what seems to be black goop. Must be some kind of pollution substance. It looks at me and screams something inaudible. I book it as it chases me. I trip on a rock and fall face first. "Gahh! F***!" I say as I trip. I see it loom over me for a second then it falls over to the right. I sit up and look at the beast and see an arrow in its head. "What in the..," I mumble. I see an arrow zip past my face, I jump back and hear someone shout, "Oh my gawd! I'm so sorry!"

I look to the left and see a girl with a bow. She has black hair and purple eyes, she is wearing a green shirt and blue jeans. She's an average height.
She runs over to me and shouts, "It's just another kid!" About three more kids come out and check me out. "This is rare, to find a kid that isn't dead," one of the kids whisper.

One of them look familiar. Wait is that.."Jack?"
