Vilkas x Reader - Announcing you are pregnant

Start from the beginning

"I will stay around the side, Farkas will fall off if one of us doesn't hold him in place." Vilkas smiled as we finished propping Farkas back into place.

"You're right." I kissed his cheek. "I'll lead Shadowmere." I walked back to my horse who was looking less than please with the whole situation. "Oh come on, it's only Vilkas. He won't hurt you. Lets get him home." I said as I pulled on Shadowmere's reins.

The journey back was longer than I had anticipated, with Farkas slipping in and out of consciousness every now and then and Vilkas constantly having to push him back onto the horse, we had to stop every so often. Shadowmere was having just about enough of the slow pace and I was getting very agitated by it as well.

"Can you just stay put Farkas." I heard behind me. "The journey is taking forever."

I chuckled and turned to Shadowmere.

"I guess we aren't the only ones that are pissed with this huh?" I smiled and stroked his mane.

Shadowmere merely grunted in response as we arrived at the stables of Whiterun.

The stables were very eerie at night; the pitch black sky was perfect for night creatures in this province, the wind blew harder around the front of the city, the troches from guards in the distance looked more like spirit orbs than fire, and the horses in the stables were always restless. Though I think the horse were more restless due to the fact that Shadowmere was fucking terrifying and they had to share the stables with him.

We arrived at the gates and took Farkas down. I told Shadowmere to get some sleep and the guards opened the gate up for me, Vilkas and an unconscious Farkas. Aela was lent against the guard house as we approached, she looked pretty angry.

"You said you would be back by sunset." She snarled. "I have been waiting here all day."

"I'm sorry Aela, Farkas's reaction was a lot more drastic than ours was." I said handing her Farkas's arm.

Vilkas kept a good grip on the other side of him and he lead them up through Whiterun, stopping at Breezehome.

"Are you sure you won't stay with me tonight?" I asked as I unlocked my front door.

"I have to watch my brother." Vilkas said. "I am sorry love. But I will see you tomorrow for breakfast. Hopefully he feel better by then."

I tucked his hair behind his ear and gave him a kiss.

"Stop with all the love-y dove-y and conertrate on getting this one back to Jorrvaskr." Aela groaned starting up the track.

I smiled to Vilkas who frowned at Aela in response and waved goodbye to them before entering.

The warmth of the fire was the nicest thing I could have felt at that moment. I struggled up the stairs and flopped onto my bed.

"Thane?" Lydia enquired.

"Ah, yes it's me Lydia." I muffled into the covers.

"I am off the bed Thane, please call if you need anything." She smiled and closed the doors to my room.

I took in the smell of my sheets. Vilkas. He had been here while I was out. I didn't mind, I ruffled my face against them and wrapped them around my face. His smell always made me sleepy for some reason.

I kicked off my shoes and sat up on the bed, stripping off the sweaty and vomit covered armour, and brush a hand through my hair.

I sighed. "When was the last time we had sex?" I whispered as I pulled back the covers and slipped into bed.
