Doors, doors and more doors. How should I know where this thing is? I take random lefts and rights, surveying every crack and door to find a clue to where the Dent is.
Footsteps echo through the hallway I'm walking through. My breathing hitch when I notice that I won't be fast enough to escape without being seen, the person must have purposely walked softly so I would be caught off gaurd.
"Gigi you have to listen to me, it was never my intention for Drew to get hurt. I was set up! Your agency is nothing but build from lies!"
That voice. The voice that played with my mind way too much. I don't know what I want to believe, so I just believe what I need to.
"No, Zayn. It's you. You're the one build from lies, " I state as calm as I can while turning around to meet those deceiving pair of hazel eyes. I almost fall for his pained expression, but I convince myself that just like me, he is a trained spy and can fool anyone to get what he wants.
Suddenly his expression change to the cold, heartless man I saw him as when I met him. The man I saw before I got sucked into his lies and before he acted as if his bad side is just a front when all the while that was just who he really is.
He takes a gun from his pocket and cocks it and lift up the weapon. He aims and before I could do anything to defend myself he pulls the trigger...

I hope this sneek peek sparks some interest because it doesn't really give away much. I have posted other books which fall under humour, science fiction but this is new for me to write a spy book. I'm kinda reluctant about it bit I'ma write for fun so.... Enjoy!
