I walked down the stairs with all of my school things and into the kitchen.

My mom was giving Ainsley, Jane, and Gabriel breakfast for school.

"Morning twinnies, morning Gabe." I smiled putting my hand on top of his blonde hair "Are you ready for pre-k?"

He shook his head, "I don't go to pre-k until next week, Lenny."

My mom looked up and grinned, "Perks of being a pre-k student. Do want to take a granola bar with you or something?"

I shook my head as I moved my hand away, "I'm good, where's Luke?"

"Oh, he left about ten minutes ago to get breakfast from Chick Fill A before school. Dad left about thirty minutes ago to go on a run. So you need to take Carson." My mom told me as she poured more cereal for Ainsley

"Carson!" I yelled as I grabbed my car keys "I'm leaving and if you don't come now then you're catching the bus."

Carson came running down the stairs with his bookbag. "Can we get Starbucks?"

I rolled my eyes, "Sure."

"Alright, you two get on your way. Carson have a great first day of freshman year, Lennox have a great first day being a junior." My mom smiled

We walked out of the door after saying bye to our mom and siblings. Carson and I got Starbucks and blueberry muffins to go with our drinks.

I parked my car when we got to school and started walking in with my little brother. Well my not so little brother, considering he was taller than me.

"Ok have a good day and email me on my school email if you need anything." I told Carson as we walked in the hallway

He nodded, "I'll be fine, I've practically gone to school with everyone in the freshman class since I was Gabe's age."

"I know that, but you're like six feet tall and a freshman on varsity football. Don't talk to any sophomore or junior girls, they'll take advantage of you." I reminded him

"I'm fourteen years old Lennox, I'm not trying to hook up with anyone right now. It's just me and the football right now." Carson assured me

I smiled, "You were always my favorite."

"Bye Lenny." Carson waved walking away from me

"Bye Cay-Cay." I told him as I walked up the stairs

I looked down at my phone texting Mae and Cora trying to find out where they were as I ran into someone.

"Hot damn, I haven't seen you in forever." Brandon my boyfriend teased

I rolled my eyes, "Cause you ditched my party last night."

"Babe, you know I play baseball. Your brother would of shit himself." He tried to justify

Brandon grabbed my ass, "Hey, hey, hey watch it. My dad works here now."

I moved away, "I have to get to class."

"Wanna meet after school for some frozen yogurt?" He asked me

"Don't you have baseball workouts today?  You could just come over to my house and we could hang out at my place. Mae could bring her boyfriend too." I answered

Brandon nodded, "I don't start baseball workouts until next week. I'll come over after school."

"Yeah that sounds good, I'll see you later." I told him as I walked upstairs

I walked into my English classroom and sat down next to Mae. "Hey, can you bring Hudson over to my house later?"

"Why?" Mae asked me
