So basically Mei is the current, well was the current Mizukage until Chōjuro came along.....that's not the point😂👍 The point is that Mei was the Mizukage and Ao was her personal escort or...."bodyguard" whatever you want to call him👏
I really like them together although Ao dies during the great ninja war💔😑 why do you always gotta sink my ships Kishi😭😭😭!?!?

They have a pretty good relationship and most importantly, they trust in their abilities to protect one another although mainly Ao is the one who is supposed to protect Mei😆💯
Ao is shown to be a calm and collected type of guy. And I also have a feeling he's jealous about the way Mei treats Chōjuro instead of him😏👍
Mei is shown to be a strong Kunoichi who doesn't mind speaking her mind. She's also shown to be calm and doesn't get mad, annoyed or irritated easily unless Ao tells her to stop treating Chōjuro as a lil kid💞😉😂

I like them together.......I ship them.....💟😍 they're cute..... although alot of people ship Mei with Madara.....which I don't really understand cuz she literally said...."I like men who are harder to melt. But in your case, I think I'll pass."-- she ACTUALLY SAID SHE HAS NO INTEREST IN HIM, and Madara..... he's Madara....he only cares about himself and Hashirama😂😂👌 but hey, who am I to judge?😊💖
