Joe's POV I didn't follow her. And that's only because I knew she wanted to be alone. I started to head back when I heard a few screams behind me, it was fans. I put a smile on my face and took a few photos with them until they left. As I got back I saw a light outside, everyone was there. "Hey, Joe" Zoe smiled. "Hi" I waved sitting down. Alex was sitting next to Alfie and Marcus. "We've been over what happened and things" Alfie said looking down to Alex. I nodded, tempting to look at Alexis. She laughed at Marcus' jokes or laughed when Oli made that weird sound he does when he laughs. Only if I could make her that happy. I try not to think about her too much, until my head hits my pillow and she's in my mind again. I hear bangs, just thinking it's my head, but it's my door. "Joe?" I looked up, startled, it's Zoe. "What's wrong?" "Zo?" I sat up, cuddling the covers. My palms were sweating and my legs were sticky. "I heard you talking in your sleep and heard you shifting around, something's wrong" "I'm just warm, and clammy" I lie. "You're a terrible liar Joe" she smiles at me. "I don't know how to say it, Zo" "Say what?" "That I like her, that I just want to be with her" "Who?!" No words come out. "Joe" she said, eyes filled with concern. "Alex" I finally say and let out a big sigh. Zoe's eyes got wider. "I knew you liked her, Joe" "You did?" "We all did" Shit.
I woke up before everyone that morning, I decided to get changed have a cold shower and go out. I was hoping Alex would be awake, I crept past everyone's rooms and crept into Alexis' room. "Alex?" I whispered quiet loudly, at the end of her bed. She didn't wake up until I said her name clearly. She rubbed her eyes and squinted at me. "Where are you going?" She said propping herself up on one elbow. "I'm just going on an morning walk, want to come? We do need to talk about yesterday" I said hoping she'd say yes. She stood up and walked towards me, gently pushing me out. She closed the door on me with no answer. I waited just hoping she'd open the door and just kiss me. "Oh" I whispered to myself. I went out and past the pool down to the huge set of steps I had to conquer. I started, arms dragging me down. I sighed. On the tenth step I heard someone. "Joe, wait up!" I turned around to see her, pearly white teeth beaming at me. She stood at the bottom of the steps waving on her tip toes. She ran up to me with her backpack. "You weren't going to leave without me were you?" She said pulling her hair up into a pony. I shook my head, heart beating, ripping out of my chest.

She put down her bag to get out a few things, her cap, sunglasses and her purse. As she fed her pony through the hole in the back of her cap and put it on we heard someone call her name. "Alexis!" A deep voice spoke. "It's Marcus!" She said pulling me down and close. My face was inches away from hers and all I could think about was kissing her. She put her sunglasses on and pulled me up the steps. "He's going to be so mad" I said biting my nail. "No he won't, because I'll message him" I watched as she got her phone out of her pocket and started texting. She turned the phone to me as I read out loud. "Gone out to get food and drinks for tonight, be back soon xo" I read. I looked up at her, smiling. "Let's go!" I said breaking an awkward silence. "So where were you planning on going?" She said not looking at me when we got to the top of the steps. "Probably a walk along the beach and then the lounge bar, I saw it one time when we were out" She nodded, putting her hands behind her back and took long steps. "Sounds good" I checked the time, 9 in the morning. "Want a smoothie?" "I think I need more than that" "A cocktail?" "Let's go for it" It took around five minutes to reach a smoothie bar on the beach. I brought us both a smoothie then guided us along the beach near the shore. We took little and slow steps across the beach, wanting to walk across here for a life time. "So..." "About yesterday" "Joe" I sucked the straw to my smoothie looking away. "Joe" she repeated. I stopped and turned to her. "Please just say it" "Say what?" I knew what she was talking about. "That you like me.." "I--" she cut me off. "I've been telling myself you don't, but you do, you look at me like you wouldn't to anyone else, you're a little flirt, you've kissed me without an explanation" "You've kissed me too!" "That's because I like you Joe" she said, looking like she regretted it straight away. There was a pause. "I like you too.." I said quietly. She doesn't look at me. "You do?" "Yeah" "Why?" "Because you're so beautiful, you're funny, you're smart and by getting to know you even more I can make that list longer" I lift her chin up with my finger, "I think I'm in love with you, Alexis Butler" She shakes her head, but smiles. Alex goes on her tip toes and softly kisses me. She pulls me along, hand in hand walking faster now, across the beach. I decide to get out my camera and vlog. She let's go of my hand for some bits but others I can just crop out. "Let's take an Instagram picture" she says putting the camera on a huge rock and timed out photo, we made weird figures out of our shadow with the sunset in the background. We snap a good photo of us both and she posts it and tags me in it. I go on my phone and comment on it...
