The pain I see in your eyes really breaks my heart. Why? Because I know I'm the reason behind it. I left you when I shouldn't have. I portrayed myself to be the one and made promises I couldn't keep. I made countless memories with you but now all they do is haunt you instead of bringing you joy.
I know it all but there's something you should know too. I'm breaking internally everyday too. I lost my everything and knowing I'm the reason behind your sadness just leaves me blank and regretful. I'm so sorry, I'll never have the chance to say this to you because I don't know how to face you anymore.
