(I know this is long over do - like waaaaay long over due. I apologize, things weren't going so well for me and knowing how life can be kind a hinder it but anyways. Here's a sneak peek of my first ever - somewhat published - book. Also the picture above has nothing to do with the story, just found the picture cute and adorable.)

Everything you know about vampires, werewolves, witches, or the supernatural in general are all lies - rumors, told by human race. Each rumor or as you humans call them now a days 'legions' change over time. I will tell you the truth about everything you need to know about the supernatural and how it came to be. First off let me introduce myself, my name is Alexandria Lexi VeeLee but what everybody does not know is that is not my real name. My real name is actually Lithia Raven Lipitoré, the life I knew about myself is nothing but a lie, a secret kept from me. This is my story on how I uncover the truth of who I really am.

It all started when on my third birthday, knowing my parents they would throw a party for me. That party was about to be a banquet with all of our closest friends and family coming over to celebrate. That week was not like any birthdays I had in the past, this birthday I will never forget. My mother, Azula, was bedridden with an illness no one knew she had. The side effects she was experiencing render her from any movement with pain coursing through her body. I had to convince father, Asher, to cancel the celebration and focus solely on mother's health.

My aunt, Victorique, my mother's adoptive younger sister, was asked to watch over me but being the stubborn child I am - refused to leave my mother's side. I sat on her bed while facing her and holding onto the homemade cat plushie she had given to me as an infant. I held onto to it for dear life in my right arm close to my chest while the other held my mother's hand. Everyone in household even my father have all tried to distraction me and to hopefully get me to leave but I stood my ground, not given in. I just know if I leave her side, something bad will happen and I can't afford the slightest chance for things to take a turn for the worst.

"Auntie Vic, do you know when mother will ever wake up?" She jumped at the sound of my small voice after entering the room quietly, thinking I could not hear her nor smell the plate of cookies in her hands. After placing them on the nightstand behind me, not bothering giving her a slight glance from the moment she came in.

“Don’t worry sweetheart, I’m sure by the end of the day she’s going to be feeling much better, healthier than ever!” All I could do was just sit there quietly and let the moment go by in silence, you could even hear a needle drop or a mouse squeaking in the walls.
