Chapter 1: Meet Shaylyn Grace Shirogane

Hey, Deanne-chan here! This will be my first fanfiction that I will be writing alone, but don't think that I only write alone now! Hope you like it a lot, and a big shout to my editors, @Queen_Bri1288 and @ierofuckingway who I really appreciate for helping. Now... let's get started! (FYI added an OC and changed somethings about plot lol sorry) I ONLY OWN SHAYLYN SHIROGANE.... That is all!

Shay looked around only to see that everything was white, from the ground to the sky. She stood in one spot not knowing what to do. Suddenly, a figure appeared in the distance. Shay had run over to it hoping to find some answers to what had happened to her. What she didn't expect was to see that there was a giant robot, lion shaped animal. It was the color white, with black streaks. It had razor sharp claws, a long metal tail, and had gold, glowing eyes. Its head turned at Shay and looked at her, then started to face her direction. It had moved so fluently, like a real life animal. The jaws had made a clicking sound before opening its huge mouth, which seemed to be endless. Shay had waited a few seconds before entering the mouth. I better not get eaten, or we are going to have a serious problem, Shay thought this as she was walking onto the platform. As she entered what seemed like a tunnel, Shay had saw some light that seemed to be coming out of nowhere. Shay had saw this and ran up to it, only to see what looked like a control room. She sat into the chair, and all of the controls seems to be following into her brain all at once.

When the the information was distributed, a loud voice had said, "White is the lion, it is yours to keep, come, find it, and your prize will be unique. Keep on looking by a mountain, in a cave, but always remember to be strong and brave." After the mysterious voice had talked to Shay, everything seemed to turn black. What's happening?!?!, Shay had screamed as she had flew up from her bed. Beads of sweat had fell from her forehead, and she had realized that she was breathing heavily. Her roommates at the Garrison had looked at her with wide eyes.

"Hehehe... sorry about that guys." Shay said looking down at her feet, and then her alarm clock. It was 6:00 AM and Shay was not a morning person, so she had to drag herself out of bed everyday. Today, she was thinking about what had happened in her dream, because this wasn't the first time she had a weird dream like this. Before, she saw a ship with other lions like the white one, along with a crew. The crew had 7 members that looked fuzzy and there was a shadow next to all of them, like it was trying to say that the crew needed one more person. Shiro always used to tell me that I had one heck of an imagination, Shay had thought to herself looking at the jacket on her bed. It was her older brother Shiro's, so it was very special to her. Her friends and her roommates had always asked why she had taken it everywhere they went, but she didn't answer. It held some memories that were dear to her, and some that she could never forget. Like the day that her parents had gotten into a car crash and died, and Shiro had put it on her to keep her warm on that dark, winter evening. Or when she had learned that she would never see her brother again, and the jacket was the only thing that was left of him. The sweet scent of her brother was the only thing what brought back the good memories of her childhood.  

After Shay had finished getting dressed, she had headed out to meet her teammates for the simulator. She was worried though, because of the rumors that they all went missing after the big comet that landed near school. The thought of somebody being missing had scared her half to death, but Shay was good a hiding her true feelings. The only person that would see through her were here parents and Shiro. It had been a few days since she had seen any of her friends, but the superiors acted like nothing had happened. She was dismissed to her room for the rest of the day the minute she had walked to the simulator. This is not okay, I'm going to investigate. I will have to seek past the guard though, but that is the easy part. Pidge had showed me how to hack the cameras and the clocks to my advantage, Shay thought, with a wide grin like the grinch. She would have to turn the cameras to create enough of a blind spot to get away undetected, and would play with the clocks so the students and teachers would go to lunch early. This would leave the main hallway free from guards and attention. Shay had prepared everything, and left for her get away. The goal was to reach the main computer room and find information on what happened.

"Okay almost done," Shay had said typing her way through passwords and blocking codes, "Got in. Now to find the file." Shay had searched and searched until a document had came up and she had printed it out. When she had started to read the conclusion on the data found, she had dropped to the ground. Her legs had gone limp, and the tears had started to come out like waterfalls.

"Shiro's alive, he's alive! And he's with the others!" Shay had said trying to stop all the tears falling on the paper. She had ran back into her room and started to pack. It had some information about a blue lion I think, maybe it was the one from my dream! If it's connected to everyone, I have to find out. Shay had said as she ran down the hallway once more and out the back entrance to her room.

Shay had packed most of her belongings that were important and headed for transport. I still have 5 minutes to leave without getting caught, Shay thought. She sprinted into transport and jumped onto a motorcycle. It was decked out, with all the latest technology installed from the space program. As she had started the motorcycle, Shay had heard the feet of marching patrol officers. They had spotted her right away as she opening the garage like door.

"Hey! Get back here now! That is property of the Garrison!" a young patrol officer had said, trying to keep up with Shay. After a few more seconds he had stopped chasing her and went to go contact a higher up. She was already out of sight from the man, riding into the mountains, past the school.
