The Concert

Summer's POV
"What?!"

"Yep."

"Fine. Whatever makes you go to homecoming. So, speaking of dates to homecoming, who are you gonna go with?"

"No one. I dont need a man."

"Suuurrree you don't."

"Whatever."

The bell rings.

"See ya later."

"See ya." Tomika says. I walk towards the school doors and people start to surround me.

"Hi Summer. Im a huge fan." A girl comes up to me and says.

"Thank you I guess. But I really gotta go."

"Can you sign this real quick." I signed it and more people came. I tried to get out because I have to get ready for the concert tonight.

"Hey! Everybody back up!" A familiar voice says. Everyone backs up and leaves. I turned around.

"Hey Zack."

"Hey Summer. How are you doing?"

"Good. You?"

"Good. So, the concert tonight, Im guessing you have to be there really early?"

"Yep. But not for a couple more hours."

"Cool. I actually have a gig so I get to leave early."

"Cool."

"So, you wanna hang out, or something?"

"Sure. Why not?"

"Ok great lets go." We went to get fro-yo and I wwnr home to get ready.

"The limo's here!" I yell to Sabrina.

"Coming!" She comes downstsirs and we leave.

I was getting ready to go on stage.

"Summer?" A familiar voice says.

"Yes?"

"Hey."

"Oh, hey Lilly. What are you doing here?"

"Oh, well, you know, just that, Im one of your background dancers."

"Oh, yeah, forgot about that."

"The music's starting. We gotta go."

"Ok.: i get up out of my seat and head towards the door where Lilly is standing. I stopped at Lilly

"You okay?"

"Yeah, just nervous."

"Its gonna be fine. Lets go." We walk out of the door and head towards the stage.

I was on stage. I saw Freddy in the audience. I was singing this.

I saw him wink at me. I had this spark in me. But I ignored it and thought it was just the microphone or something.

But I was wrong.
