It Started With A Game

Introduction

I logged onto Roblox and loaded Stop It, Slender! It was ten at night and I couldn't sleep. I got bored sitting in the dark so why not play a game? 

I played one round before getting bored. I clicked out of the game and opened Murder Mystery. Once again I got bored of playing, so I opened Island. Like before, I got bored. I clicked off the game and began looking for a new one. I clicked on a random one. 

Blox Hunt, never hear of this one. 

The game loaded and I jumped as loud, cheery music blasted from the computer. I turned the volume down and used the arrow keys to look around. I noticed a timer at the bottom counting down a thirty second intermission. 

A lot of the people playing were trying to do a small obstacle course to get a coin. We had ten seconds left so I decided to type something in the chat.

Musical Emerald: Hey :3

The game started and we had twenty seconds to turn into an object and hide. I used my mouse to turn into a bush and ran to find a spot. When the twenty seconds were up, I was still running around the map. I noticed we were in a small town, or something. I ran behind one of the houses and waited. I shook my head at the screen as someone wrote something in the chat. 

Marine Fighter: I am in the worst spot possible

Musical Emerald: There is no possible way. I'm out in the open

I typed my response and my hand flew to the arrow keys. I ran to the other side of the house and quickly morphed into a garbage can. I stood next to the can at the end of the drive way and hoped my idea would work. 

Marine Fighter: Three people just passed me! One zapped me then walked away!

Musical Emerald: XD I just ran away from a seeker and I'm really surprised my spot is working

I laughed quietly and I moved my character around the map. There was three seconds left and I had five seekers chasing me. I smiled as the game ended. There was two hiders left, me and I think Marine Fighter. 

While I waited for the thirty second intermission I decided to do the mini obstacle course. I noticed many people struggled and letting their frustration out in the chat. I quickly found out why they were getting so mad. It was almost impossible to make the third jump. I gave up on the obstacle course and explored the small area. 

As the game started, I noticed many people were wearing a cool hat or had hair instead of the default helmet. Next intermission I planned out checking out the 'Blox Shop'. This time we were in a cinema. I morphed into 3d glasses and looked for a spot. 

Marine Fighter: Emerald, you can hide with me

Musical Emerald: I don't know where you are

I smiled at the computer and made my character jump onto one of the lights. I sat back in my chair and waited. The rounds were only two minutes long. 

One minute and twenty seconds later, I'm the only hider left. My fingers hovered above the keys as I got ready to run. I sighed in relief as both of the seekers passed me. I cheered quietly as the game ended. A small notification popped up saying I won a badge.

Marine Fighter: Good job

Musical Emerald: Thanks :3 

I played for a while before checking the time. One a.m. I should really get to bed. 

Musical Emerald: It's 1am, I'm going to bed, night everyone 

Marine Fighter: Send me a friend request before you leave, and good night

I sent Marine Fighter a friend request then left the game. Yawning, I shut off the computer and crawled into bed.
