Mozzy: Wag na, nak. Pagod ka na. Antayin mo lang to matapos tas magpahinga ka na.

Hindi nalang kumontra si Alyssa. She busied herself taking pictures of the pink flower Kiefer got her. She saw him bringing up their things. She threw him a questioning look.

Kief: I'll just fix these things sa taas.

She nodded. Binaling niya ang atensyon sa ginagawang pagtake ng pictures at nang makuntento na siya, pinost niya ito sa IG.

Mozzy: Ang saya mo, Ly. Laki ng ngiti mo.

Alyssa didnt notice she was already smiling. She pursed her lips.

Ly: Mama naman, eh. Masaya lang.

Mozzy smiled and gave her a glass of milk.

Ly: Thanks, ma.

Mozzy: Inalagaan nga kita nung di pa kayo kasal, mas lalo na ngayon di ba?

Alyssa took a sip from her glass and remained silent for awhile. She stared at the photo on the wall and was consumed by her own thoughts. Mozzy noticed and held her hand.

Mozzy: May problema ba?

Ly: Wala naman ma. I just... I just wish na magtagal din kami ni Kief gaya ninyo ni Papa. Gang ngayon, strong pa rin.

Mozzy held her soothingly and smiled.

Mozzy: Di malayong mangyari yun, anak. Same naman tayo ng anniversary. Tiyaga, tiwala, at dasal lang yan. Syempre pagmamahal.

Ly: Tingin mo ma?

Mozzy: Nagdududa ka pa ba sa inyo?

Alyssa shook her head gently in response.

Ly: If there's someone I want to work everything out with, si Kiefer yon, ma. And now that we're married, napapaisip din ako kung anong naghihintay samin this time around.

Mozzy: One step at a time, anak. Dadating din kayo dun. Andito naman kaming mga magulang niyo para gumabay.

Tumayo si Alyssa at niyakap ang biyenan. Niyakap siya nito pabalik saka hinagod ang likod.

Mozzy: Ok ka na?

Ly: Yes po, ma. Nagdadrama lang ng konti.

Mozzy giggled. Alyssa downed her milk and walked towards the sink. Mozzy stopped her.

Mozzy: Ako na. Pagod ka na. Akyat na sa taas, nak.

Ly: Goodnight, ma.

Mozzy: Goodnight.

Nagbeso sila bago umakyat si Alyssa.

Pagdating ni Alyssa sa kwarto nila ni Kiefer, no one was inside. She left the flower on her dresser and plopped down on the bed. Kiefer walked out of the shower in his boxers.

Kief: Babe, I prepared your bath. Ligo ka na. Mabaho ka na eh.

She rolled her eyes and showered. When she was done, she saw him on the bed watching tv. When he noticed her standing by the door, in her nighties, he turned off the tv and patted the space beside him. She obliged and cuddled with him.

Kief threw his hand over her shoulder and played with her hair.

Kief: Ang moody mo ata ngayon, Babe. Kanina lang pissed ka sakin, ngayon ang sweet mo.

Alyssa looked up at him questioningly.

Ly: Ayaw mo?

Kief: Not that. Baka lang may reason kung bakit napaka moody mo these days.

Ly: Nakakainis ka lang talaga.

Kief: Yun na nga. Wala akong ginagawang masama, pero naiinis ka pa rin sa akin. Baka lang ano, alam mo na...

Alyssa's forehead creased, waiting for him to explain some more. Hindi niya gets ang pinupunto nito.

Kief: I mean, ano... Baka lang naka jackpot nako.

Ly: Naka jackpot ka naman talaga sa kin. Swerte mong ikaw pinakasalan ko noh...

Kief: Hindi kasi yun ang ibig kong sabihin, Babe...

Ly: E ano ba talagang pinupunto mo?

She was growing impatient. Kiefer knew he has to speak up before she gets annoyed.

Kief: Ano, jackpot... baby. Baka lang naman kasi buntis ka na.

Alyssa stiffened at the thought before looking back at him. A wide grin was plastered all over her face as she reached for his cheeks and pinched them.

Ly: Babe, kaya ako naiinis dahil meron ako. Kakadating lang tonight. At saka tungkol kay baby, napag usapan na natin yan. Give me two years. Kahit na ilan pang baby yan basta wag muna ngayon. Bakit ba kasi nagmamadali ka? Imagine, nagpropose, namanhikan, nagpakasal in a span of two months. Tas ngayon, baby agad? Wala pa ngang one month eversince kinasal tayo eh.

Kief: Kasi naman babe, tignan mo nga comments dun sa post mo sa instagram pati sa twitter. Nanghihingi na ng baby phenoms mga followers mo.

Alyssa pinched Kiefer's side.

Aly: At talagang balak mo talaga silang pagbigyan agad noh? Ni hindi nga nila alam na kasal na tayo.

Kiefer took her hand and slipped on her wedding ring. She looked at it and smiled.

Her ring symbolizes so much. People are not aware of their silent wedding - the same day his parents renewed their vows. Only their family and selected friends. Because of this, they don't wear their rings outside. But when they get home, in each other's arms, they wear them. Their ring is equal to each other. At the end of the day, when they have worn the rings, they are home and they will always be.

Ly: Babe, sana di sila magtampo na di natin pinaalam na kasal na tayo. Sana maintindihan nila.

Kief: Mahal nila tayo, Babe. Saka magpapakasal naman tayo ulit when the right time comes.

Alyssa kept her silence and continued to look at her ring.

Ly: Talaga bang nanghihingi na sila ng baby phenom?

Kiefer chuckled and handed her his phone.

Kief: Oo nga. Eto o tignan mo mga comments. Ikaw kasi eh, may pa progress ka pang caption. Kala tuloy nila Progress Gold tinutukoy mo?

Ly: Progress Gold?

Kief: Oo yung milk ng baby, babe. Buntis ka na nga daw kasi.

Ly: Hala sila.

Kiefer laughed at Alyssa's expression and let her go.

Kief: Basahin mo kasi comments. Matatawa ka. Teka lang, cr lang ako.

Kiefer walked towards the comfort room as Alyssa scrolled through her photos comments. She had gone through a lot when she stumbled upon one.

Kiefer's.

Ly: Kiefeeerrrrrrr!!!!
