Prompt: Amnesia

Prompt: Person A wakes from coma, Person B by his side, Person A doesn't remember Person B

Vituri (YOI): Person A=Victor, Person B= Yuri Victor stared at Yuri as he slowly opened his eyes for the first time in a week, he had fallen on the ice while trying a quadruple flip and hadn't properly braced himself for the impact before hitting his head. The doctors had warned Victor that Yuri might have amnesia if he ever woke up. Victor had stayed by Yuri's bedside every day, only leaving to use the restroom. Yuri stared at the ceiling, before finally turning his gaze to Victor. His eyes showed no sign of recognition, they were almost lifeless. Victor's blue eyes looked into Yuri's brown. With a hurt expression, Victor said, "You don't remember me, do you?" Yuri stayed silent, confirming Victor's fears. Victor turned his gaze towards the ring sitting on Yuri's finger. He tried to hold back the tears in his eyes. The boy who had managed to make him fall in love at the GPF banquet once again completely forgot talking to him. At least, last time he forgot it wasn't his whole life. Victor returned his gaze to Yuri, who was staring at him. "What do you remember Yuri?" He asked carefully.

Let's switch roles Yuri sat by Victor watching his shallow breaths, watching his chest rise and fall. Victor had been asleep for a month after a car accident, which Yuri had been in too; however, Yuri had only been left with a few scratches, Victor receiving the most force. For days, Yuri had called the nurses in every time Victor would twitch a finger, but the nurses were positive it was all in Yuri's mind as there were no signs in Victor's brain waves that he had moved at all. Despite their tries, the nurses just couldn't convince Yuri to leave Victor's side. Suddenly, Yuri heard a groan. Yuri's head snapped to look towards Victor, whose breathing had become less shallow. Taking Victor's hand in his own, Yuri held onto his hope that the doctors were wrong about Victor having possible amnesia. When Yuri saw Victor open his eyes he quickly pressed the button that called for the nurses. Unfortunately, the nurses didn't want to have to go through another false alarm and didn't enter the room. "Victor?" Yuri called to him, a smile on his face. Victor's face contorted into one of confusion as he looked towards Yuri. His eyes held no recognition, just confusion. Yuri tried again, calling, "Victor?" A tear tumbled down from Yuri's eye to his chin. "You don't remember me, do you?" Yuri cried. More tears fell, as Yuri remembered everything Victor was to him. Victor's hand was still in Yuri's and softly Victor squeezed it. Yuri looked up to Victor who had a small look of concern. 

"Of course I remember you, Yuri," Victor said slowly, almost painfully.

I only did Victuri because I couldn't think of any other couples I would be able to write right now for that specific prompt.
