A weeping angel has appeared right before my eyes. I stand frozen in shock and terror (which is probably a good thing given the circumstances)

Quite quickly, my eyes grow watery and I need to blink again, and as much as I try to stop myself from do so, my instincts take over and I am forced to close my eyes.

When I open them again the weeping angel is up in my face, with a look that makes my blood run cold.

It's mouth is open in a ghastly snarl and it's pointed the teeth are easily visible.

I don't even notice when the TARDIS door opens and the one impossible man I have been looking for all my life steps out, bow tie and all.

He stands there for a moment and then fully registers what he is seeing. "don't blink" he says " and don't look into its eyes".

But, like the idiot I am, I turn my head as soon as I hear his voice, while doing this, I close my eyes and open then in disbelief.

I am very lucky that he is looking strait at the angel because I can't take my eyes off him. "it's you" I whisper, he doesn't hear me.

"Look at the angel" he says "I'm going to have to look away, so when I do, be ready". I nod fearfully, explanations can come later.

He reaches into his jacket and pulls out his sonic screw driver. He fiddles with it for a second and then nods approvingly "Geronimo" is all he says.

He steps up to the angel and buzzes his screw driver against it's neck. slowly, cracks start to form. small at first but they grow bigger. the angel shatters and falls to the ground as rubble but the doctor doesn't stop. soon, all the angel is, is dust.

"Hello", the doctor says enthusiastically, "I'm the doctor".

In that one moment I realise I had this exact conversation planned out with every possible detail I could imagine, planned out since I first watched Doctor Who in 2009. now was my chance, take it or leave it. I could decide to commit and hope for the best or run and forget this ever happened.

What the heck, "Doctor who?"
