So in my school depending on your academic ability depended on which subjects were compulsory.

For me I had to take:
Maths (foundation or Higher)
English
Science. (Additional or further additional)
History
French
Geography

I then got to pick three other subjects so I took:
Media Studies
Physical Education
Business BTEC

Every school is different so your school will obviously do their own selection of subjects.

When picking your subjects pick the ones that you're most interested in and make sure you find out what you do in the subject-my friend picked Computer Science- needless to say she regrets it because she didn't look into what you actually do in the subject.

Make sure you look through all the subjects available,I wasn't going to do Business BTEC but when I read about it I changed my mind and picked it instead of another subject.

Remember you're going to be studying these subjects for 2/3 years depending when you start them.In my school we start in year 9.
