Alfred was returning from one of his classes for the first semester one fall evening, his bag at his side and it lightly bounced as he walked. He took a sip of his coffee, humming as he felt the hot yet sweet taste of the liquid go down his throat and warm his body up. The leaves were falling down on the ground and the wind lightly blew on the campus, most of the other students going to their dorms or going to their afternoon classes. It was a pretty sight; Fall was always one of Alfred's favorite seasons for that reason. He always loved how pretty the warm colors looked, and the weather was perfect to have a picnic or to just sit outside.

Today, Alfred needed to get some books to study for an exam, and he would need to go to the library in town. He hated exams, but it wouldn't hurt to study a little bit, would it? Well that wasn't the reason why he was going, not the main reason, that is. The real reason why he was going was to see the librarian, who he had found out was named Ivan Braginsky. He thought he was so adorable, everything about him being dorky in some way. Usually, he wore big nerdy glasses and large sweaters, which he found pretty cute. He found it hard not to stare at him and actually focus on his books, the way he smiled made his heart flutter and he knew he had a crush on him. Though, he waited several weeks before he considered making a move on him. The most he has done was small talk and occasional flirtatious comments, but today was going to be different. He couldn't stand looking at Ivan without him knowing how he really felt, so today he will finally do something about it.

Alfred opened the door of the library after he finished his coffee and threw it away in a trash bin at the door, not needing have the empty cup anymore. He walked into the room and was greeted by the strong scent of old books and some kind of herb, probably wood cleaner or something like that.  It seemed dusty just from the looks of it, kind of like an old man now that he thought of it, which made him chuckle under his breath.  He went to a seat near the front desk and set his bag full of textbooks at the chair, letting out a sigh of relief as the large weight was released from his shoulders and back. He popped his back and went to the front counter, wondering if Ivan was here or not. He usually worked every other day of the week, so Alfred figured he would come out any moment and greet him.

Alfred looked over when he heard the huffing of a man carrying something heavy, and he smiled. There he was. Ivan was carrying a stack of books, having them up to his neck, and he was struggling to carry them to the counter.

"I-I'll be there in a moment!" Ivan huffed, and he took small steps so the books would not fall. Alfred walked over to him and he took half of the books from the stack, wanting to help the guy a bit. A broken back wouldn't be good for what he was planning on doing today, anyway.

"Let me help you with that, buddy." Alfred said with a smile, and he placed the books on the wooden shelf of the counter, right next to the return slot. Ivan panted softly as he placed his books there as well, and he leaned against the counter before letting out a sigh of relief, similar to what Alfred did with his bag.

"Thank you, Alfred." Ivan said with a smile, trying to calm down his breathing a bit. He was wearing something dorky and adorable as usual. He had his hipster glasses on his face like he always did, even though he didn't really need them. He was wearing a pastel purple sweater that covered went down right to his perked butt, and was wearing black tights that showed off his curves and plump thighs. Alfred loved how he wore such clothes, thinking that it fit him pretty well because of his chubby body type.

"No problem, I couldn't just let you struggle there, could I? I'm the hero! It's my job to help people in need!" He asked, having a sly grin on his face. Ivan looked at Alfred after he was now breathing normally and he was relaxed, a smile still on his face.
