Ellie's POV
" Okay class, homework is due tomorrow don't forget the essay due next week. And try to stay out of trouble will you.." Mr. James says.
I gather my stuff and head to my locker. Thank god tomorrow is Friday so is the last day of the week.. then the weekend!
I was putting my books away, when I feel hands snake around my waist. I look over my shoulder and Gabe Knight himself stands there.
" how was college history?" His minty breath fans my face
" boring. How about you? How was woodshop?"
" stupid." I chuckle
As I put my last book in, I shut my locker and walk to lunch with Gabe. The lines in the cafeteria were long but I didn't mind the wait.
" so I was thinking."
" For the first time in forever.." I sing
" ha- very funny.. anyway I was thinking.." I cut him off
" that's never a good thing." I smirk as he glares at me
" I was thinking.."
" about breaking up with me.."
" yeah.. wait what?"
" what?" I mimic
" anyway, how about I take you out on our first date tonight?"
" hmm let me think?" I tap my chin as if I was debating on say yes or not.
" Babe you have no friends except me and Macy.. so I know you don't have plans."
When he said babe my stomach erupted like a volcano. It's never done the before.. hmm weird?
" okay fine.." I give in. He gives playful smile
"that's what I thought."

The last bells rings signaling for school to be out. I rush out of class and run to find Macy. I finally spot her talk to Carter.
Man, her and Carter have been getting along pretty well lately.
" MACY!" I tackle her to the ground
" oh my god what!!" I can tell she's angry
" I need help! Gabe and I are going on our first date tonight." I looked worried
" well why didn't you say so let's go!!" Her angry face became a happy one. " bye Carter text okay?"
"Yup" he replies with a salute
" hi Gabe. Bye Gabe." I say as we rush past him. Macy's hand is gripped around my arm tight
" uhh hi? Bye? Pick you up at seven!" He shouts
" k bye!" I blow him a kiss
Oh no, what am I going to wear. I don't even have a dress. How am I going to do my hair and makeup? All these thoughts in my head and I remember, oh wait I have Macy.
She drags me to her car. And shoves me into the passenger side.
" OW! You could've at least opened the car for first." I suggest
" no time!" She shouts
" I'm right here." I step into her car
