A/N: One giant time skip after another, but it's the only way to make the story not get boring and not drag on forever. Sorry but it's the only so #dealwithit

Eddie belly flopped onto his bed. The test week was now over, indicating the end of the grading period. Eddie has been going on a few dates here or there with Aleks, but they are not official. Everyone at school looks at them a different way, doesn't matter of they're homophobic or not.

"Eddie! I'm home!" Eddie's mother called out from the kitchen. Eddie got up in a groan to see her, being greeted by a giant bear hug. Effie's eye opened, knowing exactly what this indicated.

"Mom, don't tell me were moving!" Eddie exclaimed, letting go of her as soon as he could.

"I'm sorry, Eddie. It's for my new job promotion in Chicago. You will have to finish high school there, maybe." His mother told him, looking straight into his eyes.

"But I have my best friends here at this school, Mom! I can't leave them now!" Eddie exclaimed, tears filling his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Eddie. Blame your father for what he has done to your life then." His mother concluded, finishing their discussion. "We leave a day after your school get off for the summer."

Eddie ran into his room, bawling like a baby. Everyone had become his best friends, actually more like brothers! Him and Aleks were having a nice relationship and Eddie didn't want to ruin that! He felt like grabbing another knife, but stopped himself short when his phone rang.

"Hello?" Eddie answered, barely able to speak properly.

"Eddie! What's wrong?" Jordan asked him on the phone.

"I-I-I." Eddie couldn't get the words out that were needed to be said.

"Hey, how about you come over to my house? Everyone is hear so we can talk about." Jordan requested.

"Alright. See you in ten." Eddie quickly grabbed his headphones and ran out of the house, still not wanting to speak to his mother. He turned on Pandora and plugged in his headphones. There more upbeat songs on the radio, so it did lift up his mood when he entered Jordan's house.

"Eddie!" Jordan answered the door, pulling Eddie in as quickly as he could. Everyone, including Seamus and James, were in the room staring at Eddie with worry. "Are you going to tell us what happened?"

Eddie gave out a giant sigh, knowing he has to be truthful. "I have to move at the end of the year." He confessed.

The guys just looked at him in shock, soaking in what Eddie had just said. "E-Ed-Eddie. You can't move! We're your friends!" James exclaimed, running to Eddie to comfort him. Everyone followed, all teared up. They didn't want Eddie to go he has become part of their group!

"I don't know what I would do! I have no other choice but to move to Chicago with my mom!" Eddie sobbed.

"Chicago?! That's so far away!" Nick exclaimed.

"Have you told Aleks yet?" Ze finally brought up the biggest question. How will Eddie tell Aleks without breaking both of their hearts?

"You're the only people that know so far." Eddie admitted. This made all the guys smile to know that they knew first. "I'll have to tell him sometime during the break."

"That will be fine, were only going camping near the middle and end of the break. Maybe talk to him the day before we leave?" Jordan said. Eddie forgot all about their camping trip for spring break.

"That actually sounds like a perfect time to tell him!" Eddie said. He wanted to not be near Aleks after he would tell him, he didn't want to see Aleks broken. "I'll text him now."

Eddie: Hey Aleks!

Aleks: Hey Sly! :)

Eddie: Do you want to have dinner Tuesday?

Aleks: Of course! That's perfect since I'm going to be busy with Jakey and Kevin the rest of the break after that. What time?

Eddie: Five this time.

Aleks: Ok see you then!

Eddie gave out a smile as Aleks sent his last text. "We're going to talk tomorrow." He told the other guys.

"Cool, but hang out with us for today." Jordan offered, patting Eddie's shoulder. Eddie accepted and stayed with the guys the whole day, playing games and talking to his friends. Eddie was happy to be with his friends, but made him upset at the same time to soon leave them.

-----The Next Day-----

Eddie woke up with cheer. He was going his date with Aleks, but to tell him that he is moving away in the summer. That did upset Eddie, but it didn't stop him from being excited about his date.

Aleks came ten minutes earlier than predicted, surprising Eddie. "Aleks! You're here a little early! Eh, let's go." Eddie jumped out of his house and took Aleks' hand and started to run to the restaurant.

Aleks was surprised by Eddie's hyper actions, but didn't mind as it made the both of them laugh. "Wow Sly, how much sugar did you consume today?" He joked with him.

"None! We should hurry, the reservation is at 5:20!" Eddie told him, now making Aleks run with him. They got there with a moment to spare, getting their table in minutes. Eddie and Aleks were already having a good time after their run to the place.

"Wait, you said that you needed to tell me something." Aleks reminded Eddie, making Eddie cringe with worry.

"Yeah, about that. Its not good." Eddie said.

"You have been messed with about me again?!" Aleks slammed his hands on the table, obviously jumping to conclusions.

"No! No!" Eddie threw his hands up in surrender to calm Aleks down. "Its just that I'mmovingafterschoolendstoChicago." Eddie said with lightning speed.

"What? I couldn't hear." Aleks said.

"I-I-I am moving at the end of the school year to Chicago for Senior year." Eddie confessed, sniffling while finishing his steak.

Aleks looked at Eddie in shock, not knowing how to react to what Eddie just told him. "You-You can't go Sly! I like you and you helped me change my shitty ways and, and" Aleks had to stop himself as tears welded up in his eyes. Luckily, he finished his pasta and stood up. "We need to leave."

Eddie nodded, asking the waiter for their bill. "I'll pay if that's ok." Eddie grabbed a 20 out of his pocket and placed it next to the bill, letting the restaurant keep the change.

They got out of there and walked to the park. When they found a secluded bench, Aleks hugged Eddie and sobbed. "You can't leave because I love you Sly, even though you may not feel the same about me. But I have become a new person because of you."

"I'm sorry, Aleks. I can't help, I have to go with my mom." Eddie cried.

"Hey, how about I show you how much I have changed?" Aleks offered Eddie.

Eddie had no clue what Aleks was talking about, but still asked "How will you show me?"

"The last dance of the year is coming up, but it's not prom since that is for Seniors at our school. How about you become my date to the dance?" Aleks asked Eddie.

"Y-Yes of course!" Eddie squealed like a little girl, so calming himself down so he can talk normally. "When will you pick me up?" He asked Aleks.

"Ten minutes before 8:30." Aleks told him. Eddie wanted to skip around in joy because the dance was in a couple of weeks after the break.

"Ok, I'll see you then!" Eddie said. With that said, Eddie and Aleks walked their separate ways home, indicating that their fantastic date was over.

Eddie got home in record speed, not knowing wether to be happy or sad. He was going to the dance with his 'friend' but moving a week after that.
