I woke up to the dreadful sound of my alarm ringing into my fragile ears. Sometimes I just want to hit 'snooze' forever, but ever since that time I was an hour late for school because of my continuous snoozes, I kind of learned my lesson. Kind of.
This morning, I was feeling good. After I showered, I slipped on a pair of trendy ripped denim shorts, threw on a laced hunter-green t-shirt, and just as I was picking out which choker to wear, I got a text from Devan.
"Good morning, wassup?" it read.
Aw, he cares. But so does basically every other guy in my school. So I ignored him.
I went down to make breakfast, but it was already made. And it was beautiful. It was half a cantaloupe that was carved hollow to resemble a bowl, and then greek yogurt with blueberries, raspberries, and oats were stacked on top. I had to Snapchat it.
Beside my breakfast, there was a note that said "Love you, honey. Mom". My mom's the sweetest. I ate all my breakfast after debating with myself whether I should Instagram it for 5 minutes.
