emotions ,
sometimes thick and sweet .
rolling down your spine
with joy .
bursting in your mind
with love .
emotions ,
other times cold and bare .
ripping at your heart
with pain .
plaguing your steps (slow and weak )
with sadness .
emotions ,
always there .
holding you down (a puppet )
with dominance.
breaking you down
with strength .
emotions,
taking their time .
you consider shortening yours.
the choice ,
love, lose, break,bruise,
scream,cry, smile,shake,sing,dance,
anger,pain,shame.
or
nothing .
it's there but you can't feel it .
you feel nothing.
absolutely nothing .
would you rather
suffer from emotion ,
or have none at all ,
and just be more alone than you were before .
with not even your emotions to guide you ?
