Prologue

Back when time was patient with the people, and the people didn't take time for granted, the city of power - Kragville - was bubbling with excitement. Tonight was the grand football (soccer) championship final. There were many things Kragville was known for: the 13 heroes of the world that originated from said city, the world record for most intelligent young adults (90% of whom were part of NASA) and of course, their soccer team. The Heroes was the name of the team, a special name chosen by the leader of the Hero Council - Brainy. Funny name, I know. His true name was unknown to the people, so he was called Brainy because of his supernatural intelligence, observation skills and ability to change the past. I would rather be powerless than have a nickname like that, to be honest.

As I was saying, Kragville is my home and naturally, my favorite place on earth. It's situated on a small island in the Pacific Ocean, and is obviously dominated by English speaking people. Although 99% of the people here are strong believers in God and Jesus Christ, 100% of us basically worship the Hero Council. A council of 13 heroes - the world's only human heroes - that people believe were a gift from God to man for support and leadership. Kinda like the pope.

Ok, this is already too much information. Let me break it down a little: Kragville is awesome because I live here, and I'm awesome.

Don't take much note of this prologue, it's just something to start the book off with. I'm just letting you know I need a loooot of motivation to stick to writing, so please comment and vote! It's a hero book, pretty fantastic if you ask me, and I've got the whole story planned out -and a sequel. I'll update every Monday I think...let's see how this goes.
