Sometimes you wake up dejected,
and dress with a frown,
think that fate gave you misery,
as a crown,

without questioning why you wear a grimace,
wondering if to life,
you are a disgrace,

you don't think it is possible to grow,
sunshine from within,
because you say,
‘Oh honey, it's all in the sky, it lies in,’

but that's not true because we have, everything in here,
the heart that beats,
and a soul that doesn't fear,

so launch it out of you,
and break the melancholic spell,
because even a fragile, baby sparrow,
needs to break its shell,

then you can spread your arms wide,
grin and never hide,
the sunshine that you combined,
will lighten everything far and wide.
