To the Royal

Standing in the mirror, I see myself in a long sleeve figure-hugging white dress. I pull my long black hair over my shoulders preparing for my first night out feeling younger and pretty I never got to feel what it's really like. When my parents were murdered when I was young ,my brother wouldn't let me go anywhere but , tonight is going to be taking his girlfriend Cassidy, his boys Joseph Felix and I out to the royal to meet his boys I haven't seen these boys since I was younger I don't know what happened they got into it and they fell out and they quit talking tonight we are going to reconnect and he told me to be careful whatever that meant
After I broke out of my daze thinking I finished my outfit I wore a white form-fitting dress that touches the floor I wore black heels and I pulled my hair into a bun I don't wear makeup and to top it off a tiara on my head that Cassidy and Christian got for me for my birthday last year Cassidy ended up to be my best friend and she was super cool and I loved her to death my brother could be mean sometimes but he have the best girlfriend ever I joined Cassidy downstairs and we were waiting on the boys me and her crack jokes laughing and telling each other how the boys took longer than we did I was pretty little compared everybody else I was about 4'11 and everybody else you know was tall Cassidy was 5'6 Joseph and Felix they work you know 6'3 and my brother Christian was 6'9 everybody baby me for being little so I started wearing heels so I was like 5 3 Once the boys finally came down my brother was at a nervous wreck and I don't understand why . He kissed Cassidy's hand and told her she was beautiful and then she lit up in the face she looked so happy and he looked at me and tears struck his eyes and it broke my heart he's never seen me like this he said you look just like Mom beautiful I'm so proud of you just can't believe you've grown this much I started to cry and when he said I couldn't believe it I don't remember Mom much I could remember the way she looked and the sound of a voice but that was about it Caroline don't cry you're beautiful I don't want your eyes to swell but we need to get going now guys so everybody head to the Hummer and we will all meet at the Royal we all walked out to the Hummers I rode in the passengers seat of Felix's Hummer I rode with joseph and Felix and Cassidy and Christian rode together. After a few minutes of awkward silence Felix grabbed my hand I said " Felix I think I love you " joseph cackled "quit being shy say it back." After we hit a red light he turned over and looked at me and said "I've been waiting a long time to hear you say it". I stared at him Joseph started chewing on something in the backseat we both looked back and he was eating popcorn "Joseph where did you get popcorn". He Shrugged his shoulders I turned back to Felix and stared"Fiore say it again " he grabbed my face as I whispered "I love you Felix. " He mashed his lips on mine seconds before the light turned green he pulled away slamming the gas. I was thrown to my seat and so was joseph. Joseph's popcorn flute everywhere and I saw his priceless smile after he slowed down he laughed "Joseph, you are cleaning this up tomorrow." They both laughed. I know it seems faster me to tell him I love him but I've known the twins my whole life houses the cold-hearted psycho I will never change him but Felix always the one at my house even play with me while my mom and dad were alive after they died and he never left my side all those days sitting in the rain or in the snow just so I could talk to them I loved him for a while I just needed to tell him. When we got to the building I sat there looking at the architecture, I hadn't noticed that Felix jumped out of the car and walked to my side he pulled me out as I looked at the architecture "princess is you okay" I faintly  smiled "yes " he said " I know you're not fine what's wrong? " I said "it's overwhelming being out here." I started to look around Joseph smoking his cigarette I closed my eyes leaning into Felix he said "there is nothing to worry about Christian, Cassidy, Joseph and I will be there if anything happens. If something happens and you can't find any of us, you come out here and lock the door we will find you I promise. I promise tonight's going to be fine." He rocked me back and forth and I wrapped my arms around him. My brother finally pulled up beside us I felt Felix pull away. I was sad by the loss of contact. I walked up the caste who readjusted my tiara. She smiled and said "what's got you down princess?" I said "I told him, everything was great but I don't know if he means it he said it back he's just so distracted" she smiled  "storm in all due time you'll understand"  I Smile Back grabbing her hand
