Never forget Me

Chapter Three- It all went down hill from a kiss

‘Thanks babe!’ Rachel said as she ran over a kissed him on the check. As they kissed I walked out deeper and splashed them on my way out. Dan held up his camerea at me.

‘POSE!’ he yelled. I turned around and put my hand on my hip and held up the peace sign.

‘Cheeeese!’ Rach yelled.  Dan took the picture and stopped to have a look at it.

‘Nice photo Jam Jam!’ he said. We all walked out really deep and body surfed the waves for hours. I got a bit tired and I could tell Rach was really tired to so we decided to go back to the sand and sunbake. We laid there for hour and hours just talking, the three of us watch the sun go down and soon decided it was time to get ready. Dan and Rachel left to get home and get ready so I was planning to walk to the movies as it was only just down the road.

As I closed the door to say goodbye to them, I walked toward the bathroom it was 7:30 now I need to hurry up. I quickly turned the shower on and let it run for a bit so it would heat up. I stepped in and let the warm water run down my and then took off my bikini. I rinsed it in the water and then strung it around the taps so it would dry off. I grabbed some shampoo and scrubbed it into my thick wavy hair and then a bit of condition to the ends.

I turned off the shower and walked over to the rack to get a towel. I heard the phone ring, so I wrapped the towel around me and ran out into the hallway. Running into my mum room to get the phone, it stopped and went to message bank.

“Hi this is the Robertson residents we can’t get to the phone right now so please leave a quick message and will get back to you as soon as we can. Thanks”

“Hey Baby Girl, clearly you’re out for the night, I thought I would just give you a ring to see how your going hope your having fun! Bye!”

I picked up the phone to call her back but then looked at the time, and saw I only had 15minutes till the movie started. I shoved the phone back on the holder and ran to my room. I picked out my skinny purple jeans that were ripped and a black tank top. Pulling this on quickly, I then ran to the bathroom and dried my hair and brushed it through.

I grabbed my mobile phone and purse and shoved it into a small black strappy bag. I put on my thongs and then grabbed my key and went to the front door. I opened it and locked it on my way out, and started to power walk down the street.

It was still fairly light even though the sun had gone down, I got to the movies just in time they were all there standing in a big circle laughing and talking.

‘Hey Guys!’ I said walking up to them

‘Oh here she is finally!’ said Sam jokingly.

‘Hey I told you I wasn’t one for timing.’

We all talk and joked around as we went in a brought out tickets, I couldn’t help but notices Jake staring at me, while Emma was all over him flirting. I think she was purposely trying to annoy me but I honest could give a crap. Emma and I use to be really close when we were young but it all ended when I won school captain at our primary school and she got vice. She acted like a five year old about it, and instead of congratulating me she ignored me. She went to a different high school to me, and I hadn’t seen her for years until one day Rachel said she met this girl called Emma in her science class and that she was new and didn’t have any friends. I had no idea it would be that Emma and here we are today. I’ve tried to bring up the subject and make piece with her but she made it very clear that she had no interest in talking about it.

‘Earth to Jamie…’ Dan said waving his hands in my face. Everyone started laughing.

‘Oh sorry, I was just thinking about……’ I said getting interjected by Emma

‘About how under dressed you are!’ she said. Everyone stopped and looked at her, and gave her that look like did you seriously just say that. ‘Joking!’ she said

Everyone kind of fake laughed to keep the mood going and then we eventually moved into our seats. As it was a scary movie Emma wanted Jake and Sam to sit next to her, and because it Sam gets claustrophobic he had to sit on the end. So I went Sam, Emma, Jake, Me, Dan and Rachel. I really didn’t want to sit next to Jake so I offered to swap with Rachel but she said that because she had a lot to drink she would disturb everyone by going to the bathroom a lot.

So I was stuck next to Jake. The light went off and the movie started. Emma again was cuddling Jake, and trying to piss me off, but I ignored her which made her try harder.

‘Ahh Jake, I’m scared and I really need to go to the bathroom, will you take me.’ She said in what she must have thought was a sexy voice.

‘Umm…’ Jake mumbled as Sam interjected

‘I need the bathroom to so ill be brave and take you…’ Sam said, his always had a thing for Emma.

‘Oh ok…’ Emma said in a low voice. They got up and walked awat I saw Jake watching them and when they turned the corner, he turned a looked at me.

‘Jamie?’ he said

‘What?’

‘About last night, I was really drunk and Emma was just there, doing her flirty stuff, I swear nothing happened we just kissed and it was a big mistake, Emma just keeps putting herself all over me and all I want to do is be with you.’

‘Really, do you honestly feel like that.’

‘I do, I don’t even know why we broke up I miss you so much, you mean everything to me.’

Jake was saying everything right, he was just saying everything of how I felt towards him, I really like Jake and maybe I would learn to love him. I leaned over a kissed him mid sentence, he wrapped his arms around me and held me in tight. His perfect muscles cuddled were like a protection around me I felt safe in his arms.

When I looked up I saw Emma standing over the two of us with a shocked and angry look on her face.

‘Excuse me!’ she yelled. Dan and Rachel were looking and so was Sam. ‘His Mine!’ she screamed in an scratchy tone. ‘Get off him!’

Jakes arms slowly moved away from me but his eyes were staring right into mine, I couldn’t help but blush.

‘STOP THAT!’ Emma yelled and she slapped me in the face. Dan stood up and pulled her away from me.  Everyone was staring at Emma, who was still screaming and making a fuss, but Jake could take his eyes off mine. Dan walked Emma out the theatre and soon we all followed.

Jake was still holding my gaze but managed to still walk. He gripped my hand tight and leaned over a kissed me on the cheek. When Emma saw this she ran straight for me a tackled me to the ground. She was slapping me and ripping my hair, I wasn’t in the mood to fight back. Luckily I did some self defence as a kid so I got her in a body lock and held her there until the boys came and got her.

‘I HATE YOU!’ she screamed. Sam said he would take her home and make sure she was ok. We all decided to call it a night. Jake offered to walk me home but it would just take him longer to get home. I kissed him goodnight and said goodbye to the other.

 I was walking home, it was around 10:30, the street lights were the only thing guiding me a path. There was a car coming up slowly on the road behind me. I turned around and watch it, it was driving really slow. I stopped and started waving at it because It was obviously Dan trying to freak me out. The car got closer and closer and I soon realised I wasn’t Dan’s car at all far from it. It was a white van with tinted window. I totally freaked out and turned and started running home. It sped after me and turned into the driveway I was about to cross. The window unwounded a bit and I felt a sharp pain in my left shoulder. I screamed out but soon fell to the floor into a dead sleep.
