Their little alarm clock on top of the dresser flashed 4:00 am Spike tossed and turn, then rolled out of bed and got dressed, he quietly snuck out the door and down the wooden stairs, he walked through the kitchen and was just about to open the door when a little light in the lounge room caught his eye.

'Willow?' He asked 'what are you doing?'

'Oh!' Willow blurted out shutting all the books and laptop 'nothing!' She lied, the lie rolling off her tongue and through her teeth 'just keeping up, you know on monsters and stuff' the lies kept on coming 'wait where are you going?' she asked.

'I can't sleep and it's dark when I should be out' Spike mumbled

'I understand' Willow frowned

'I'll be back, don't start thinking the wrong things' Spike said opening the door and closing it softly.

About an hour later Spike came back and Willow was still in the lounge room

'You should really go to bed' He told her

'Oh back so soon?' She replied

'Well I don't want to get fried' Spike smiled

'AHHHHH' Buffy screamed from upstairs and Spike ran up as fast as he could

'Shh love' He whispered

'Spike I had a nightmare and then you weren't here and'

'Shhhh, pet I'm sorry I am here now' Spike got changed again and climbed into bed next to Buffy, Buffy sobbed a bit.

'Love it's okay' He said running his hand over her stomach to cuddle her

'Whoa...' he breathed

'Huh?' Buffy asked

'Nothing love' Spike replied cuddling her 'go back to sleep.'

Spike was up and awake even though he had gotten no sleep, he paced the room wondering when Buffy would wake up, he decided to do his hair again, he walked off into the bathroom. Buffy woke up and climbed out of bed, she really had to pee, she walked into the bathroom and saw Spike doing his hair.

'You know what I always wondered' She said

'What love?' He replied

'How the hell do you do your hair and everything without a reflection and still look so damn good?' Buffy laughed

'Haha you just get used to it love' Spike smiled, he looked down at Buffy's stomach then back up at her quickly

'What?' Buffy asked

'Nothing love' Spike said putting the comb down 'do you have to pee?'

'Yeah' Buffy replied, Spike walked out but he knew what he was about to hear in a second

'CRAP!' Buffy yelled, Spike rushed back in

'That's why you were looking!' Buffy stuttered and yelled at the same time.

Buffy stomach looked like she had been pregnant for at least a month, Buffy stared and felt her stomach.

'Tell me again how this is normal?' she asked

'Love I'm sure it is okay' Spike replied

'We... we have to... go to the... the hospital again... don't we?' Buffy mumbled
