Corpse Party: A Different Tale

Chapter 1 Part 1: Extremely Long Flashbacks

"..." I mumble as I wake up. "huh...? Where...am I...? This doesn't look like class 2-9 at Kisaragi Academy..."

"Mmmh..." I hear. Huh?Who is that? I think.

"Naomi?! Seiko?! Yoshiki?! Ayumi?! Mayu?! Sakutaro?! Satoshi?! Little Yuka?! Mrs. Yui?!" I yell.

"Cress...?" I hear. Is that...Naomi?! I think.

"Naomi?! Yeah, it's me! Are you okay?! Where are you?!" I yell.

"I'm right over-" Naomi starts, but then an earthquake happens.

"Woah?!" I yell, falling over.

"AAAH!" Naomi screams.

"Naomi!" I yell.

Hold up! Before I continue, I'm pretty sure you're wondering what the hell's going on. Well, it's simple. But, let's let this flashback explain everything. It all started with a little ghost story...

"It was a dark and stormy after school evening, just like this one... back when this place was still Tenjin* Elementary School... they say one of the teachers... fell down the stairs and died," ??? said in an eerie tone. "a few years later, Tenjin Elementary was torn down. Our school, Kisaragi Academy, was built in its place. Even though it's a different school, with a new building... they say that teacher still walks the halls this time of year... it's not safe to be in this school after the clock strikes seven. If the school goes dark in a blackout... that teacher will appear... and will knock on the door... then say, 'You're still here...? Shouldn't you hurry home...?'"

*ka-crash*

"WAAAAH!!" ??? yelled. Everyone just stared at him.

"One of us just screamed like a banshee!" ??? yelled, flicking on the lights. "Satoshi's scream scared me!" This is Naomi Nakashima. Born on December 14th, her father had passed when she was little. She's 5'2", 102.3 pounds, within her average weight for her gender specific height, and her blood type is A. I thought she was into Satoshi, but won't admit it. That's kinda why she teases him so much (I didn't realize that I was wrong until later).

"So the scream was Mochida!" ??? yelled, laughing.

"I know it was intense, but..." ??? said, tapping Satoshi on the shoulder.

"Wah?!" he yelled. This is Satoshi Mochida. Born on July 4th (Independence Day), he's a real scaredy-cat. He's not at all a fan of ghost stories, but he always sticks around whenever one is told. He's into Naomi, but won't admit it to her. He's 5'6" and weighs 119.5 pounds, kinda skinny for his gender specific height average weight.

"C'mon, Seiko. Cut him some slack," I said. "not everyone's got a knack for horror." I'm Cress Celirus. I was born on June 21st and have had quite the tough life. I'm 5' 6 1/2" and weigh 130.7 pounds, which is within the average weight for my gender specific height. I constantly come in with cuts and bruises due to my intense training regimen, so no one is surprised when I come in injured anymore. But the biggest shock was when I came into school with a robotic arm. My best friend had gone missing a few years back, however, so I had been devastated by it, along with the apparent death of my sister on the same day.

"Sorry," Seiko said. Our lovable class clown Seiko Shinohara. Born December 22nd, she's best friends with Naomi and they're a mess of trouble together like me and my friend were...she's 5'1" and weighs 97 pounds, barely in her gender specific height average weight. She's really a lesbian for Naomi, though; her constant harassment on Naomi made it clear to me that was the case. She's kinda like me; hiding her true emotions of sorrow to cheer others up.

"Ayumi, quit picking on Satoshi. You know he's a chicken," I said.

"Hey!" he exclaimed.

"But it's fun picking on him," Ayumi said. Class rep yet occultist Ayumi Shinozaki of the dreaded Shinozaki bloodline. I know of the Shinozaki name being into occult and anything mysterious, but I'm not sure if she's actually related to "THOSE" Shinozaki. She's 4' 11" and weighs 95.3 pounds, safely in her gender specific height average weight. She was born September 12th, and has a crush on Satoshi (which I didn't catch on to until a lot later) and despite being into horror herself, she doesn't enjoy being in horror scenarios. She panics and then hyperventilates.
