Ring, ring. The operator picked up the line.
A scream rang through the line.
"Hello can you hear me?"
"My mommy died someone broke into my house." A small voice cried out.
The sound of a cabinet shutting.
"Can you stay on line for me. What's your name and age?"
"Sarah McCall I'm three." A whimper was heard. The crunch of footsteps became louder.
"He know where I'm hiding." The girl whispered.
A scream rang loud.
"Sarah can you here me. The police is on there way. Sarah can you hear me. Come on sweetie answer for me."
Beep. Beep.
Call ended. Call lasted five minutes and twenty three seconds.
"Can anyone tell me anything. We have a three year old missing. Her time is running low!"
No one answered. The chief looked at the clock and the timer on the computer is running down.
