Dear Diary,
Today was my first day back at St. John's High, always fun to be welcomed back with such kindness from the students... I love getting long hugs from my friends and getting yelled at by the school bullies..
At least I have friends, it does help that I'm sort of pretty and I can be funny sometimes.
Anyway, today was just like any first day back at school, I tried to look my best by spending at least 2 hours on my eyebrows and eyeliner then 10 minutes just taking everything off. I also wore my favourite outfit, an oversized hoodie and leggings... Don't judge me it's winter and I don't actually care what people think of me. I spent 30 minutes putting my hair up in a "messy bun", it looks more like a birds nest then a messy bun, but it'll have to do.
The rest of my morning I just spent doing homework that I was suppose to do in the holidays but couldn't be bothered to do, because I'm lazy and I just kept forgetting to do it in the holidays.
---
The rest of my day was normal, saying hi to everyone, making friends with the new people and tripping on almost every flight of stairs. Worst part is, I don't fall down the stairs, I fall up them and as I'm lying there half in pain my friends jut laugh and draw more attention to me or take a picture for the "EMBMM book".
The EMBMM book is a book where we put all our embarrassing moments in and it slowly fills up. It stands for Embarrassing Moments, But Mostly Maddy book. It used to just be called EM book but we changed it because I take up most of the book anyways.
---
Other than that I only tripped over once more, with my tray, in the cafeteria, in front of the whole school. Lucky for me we were having spaghetti bolognese today and by that meant I made a bigger mess than I would've done with any other meal.. Fun...
---
At the end of the day I was covered in spaghetti and my ''messy bun'' had turned more into a half ponytail... At least it wasn't as bad as last year, on my first day back I'd already got suspended... But that's a story for another time.
Maddy xx
