Chapter 15- great date

Start from the beginning

"Sure no problem, is there any DIY shops? I have to paint my room."

"Yeah, B&Q, it might take a while to get there if we take the bus though."

"I thought you had a car?" After all, he was taking me on a date with his 'car.'

"It's going to be a surprise..." He groaned. "When you see my tr-- car, you'll sort of get what we are doing for the date."

Hmm truck. I'll let him win this.

"I think it's okay, right dad? You won't mind if I go and buy paint." I tried to make it sound as innocent as possible.

"Fine but if you're not back by 10, I'm calling the cops." He said sternly.

"It's makes it sound as if we're going to a party or something, we're just buying paint." I laughed.

I grabbed my jacket, keys and phone. Slipped on my converse and dragged Dean out the door.

~~~~~~
"We're not going to catch the bus on time!"
"Yes we are, the bus is always late." He argued.
"What if for once it isn't?"
"Chill out dude."
"Only I say that." I said.
"Too bad, now I say it too." He smirked.
We arrived at the bus station and saw that it was arriving late.
"Who was right?" He cupped his ear.
"You were." I muttered.
"Who?"
"Don't push it." I slapped his arm. "Do the buses here have one deck or two?"
"They are mainly double decker."
"No way." I said in shock. "I'm sitting on the top and in front."
"How old are you again?" He chuckled.
"Five and counting." I grinned.
The bus did eventually come and I rushed to the top deck.
Luckily there wasn't a lot of people in the bus so I could sit in the front.
Dean came up after a while and plopped his butt next to me.
"This is soooo cool." I said excitedly in my seat.
"It's not that great." He smiled.
"Whatever British boy."
He kissed my cheek.
"What was that for?" I turned to smile at him.
"You are just too cute."
Asda was actually a lot like Walmart.
There was food, clothes and electronics.
"Do you want anything in particular?" Dean asked me.
"Not really, I just want some chocolate." I walked in one direction.
"Over here then." He walked in the complete other direction.
"Yesssss Hershey's!" I grabbed a bar of Hershey's cookies and cream chocolate.
Dean shook his head in amusement and went to get the rest of the needed groceries while I was left to look around.
I stumbled upon the TV's and I watched the movie that was playing.
I laughed silently to myself as a little kid, no older than 7, rushed over to me and sat on the floor.
I sat beside him, he didn't even flinch.
