Chapter 5

Sapphire POV

I stood there just watching as the girl, I now knew to be Ruby, ran off. William shimmered into view next to me. "Seriously, why do you have to be so fast you look like a shimmering blur? Just answer that and I won't cause you so much trouble for a while." I said, not even glancing his way.

"Physics, I guess...," he paused taping his chin and pushing up his glasses. "Any who. What do you know of that hybrid that calls herself Ruby?" A curious look took place on his face as he stared me down.

"Not much. She might be the other one that my dad is always talking about. But other than that, nothing. My boss is going to kill me." Curiosity consumed me. I just wanted answers, the full truth to my existence. Secrets were never my favorite. "So, what do you have on her?"

"About the same. She's a hybrid. Took after her mother in preferences, but her father in appearance. Do you know who her parents are?" William said.

"I may know who her father is, but I don't have the evidence to find her mother. Either they know how to hide, or she is just some cinematic records in that big library of yours." I elaborated. William gave me a forlorn look. And I gave him a 'what is that look for' look right back. He just signed, pushed up his glasses, and shimmered/ran off to go do more work. Well, I best go find out where Ruby went.

I hopped off the roof and ran in the same direction that she had disappeared off to before William had shown up, scenting for her along the way just to ensure I stayed on her trail. Eventually the trail for stronger and fresher. Minutes later, I packed away my ears that had formed to further my hearing, and finally found her near that old reaper. I think they call him 'Under' some thing or another, I really don't care anyways. I was only concerned about Ruby.

Undertaker POV

Um Undertaker do you know anybody name Sapphire? ask Ruby. Why would she ask me that question? Did she meet her?

Why do you ask Ruby?

I meet her before I came here and she a half celestial and half demon. She seems to know me a little bit. How does she know me and I really want to know who my dad is.

I know but I am not allowed to tell you for your protection.

Is there anything that you can tell me? Anything even if it what he likes. I just want to know something about him.

Ok he not a celestial person. He is demon. You are not the only child in the family. They did not want to do this to yall but it was for yall protection. There are people that hate hybrids.

Who is my brother or sister?

That for you to find out on your own, Dearie. But I will give you a hint on who it is. You have a full blood sister, a half-sister, and half-brother.

Ruby POV

Thank you, Undertaker, as I said that I saw someone. It looks like that person from earlier. Sapphire? What is she doing here? I have to get going Bye. See you later. After that I took off. Why was she there. As I was running I ran into something or someone.

Haha, suckers! Cliffhanger for you to guess on while you wait. I know many of you are thinking 'well this little evil witch! How dare you do this to us.'
