It wasn't long before another hectic event happened. A giant blue thing swooped into my tank and started soaring through the water. I heard my siblings screaming "Stop! No!" My parents seemed overwhelmed, my father augmented his fins as wide as he could to scare this predator away. My siblings were being gobbled up by it. I swam as fast as I could but I was no match. Soon we were lifted up into the sky and it burned really bad. Breathing became impossible. I lay on my side on top of some other fish, just praying everything would be alright. Finally we got back to water but I was no longer in a net with my siblings... I was all alone. I tried swimming really fast but kept hitting something hard and shiny. I thought maybe I had died again and was in another egg, but it just seemed too soon. I attempted to break free but it was impossible. I saw something come and pick the container up and realized I had an issue. I was in the hands of a human. I remember the days when I was a dog. I was a little golden Labrador retriever mixed with god knows what else. I remember my old owner Molly got a betta fish. That poor thing was shook around in its container and flipped upside down. I thought "Jeez I'm glad I'm not him!" Poor thing looked petrified. But the issue is now that's who I am. "I think I'm in a container like that one fish... Oh no." I was being lifted up and down with waves in the water. Up and down. Up and down. I was slammed down on something and more water was poured into my little cup. The water smelled of very strong chemicals, which could only mean chlorine. I knew this from when I was a frog and one time a human poured some foul smelling water on me. The stench burned my nose and flesh. I was suffocating in the tiny cup but I couldn't scream for help. I frantically moved around to try and let the human know I did NOT like what they were doing but they walked away. They just left me. All alone.
