Recap;
Kaden, from Adaliz's past comes back trying to make peace with her.
He asks to talk and Adaliz agrees.
Adaliz's POV
"So, Kaden...how's Cindy?" I asked nervously and fiddle down at my fingers.
He chuckles as his lips twist into a small smile. "She's doing good. Her grades are getting much better."
Cindy was his 11 year old sister whom he loved to death.
She was a sweet little girl with rosey blonde hair and piercing brown eyes that contrasted with her pale skin.
The last time I had seen her, she was only eight months.
I nod my head. "That's good."
That's when the silence breaks in, the tension is extremely thick between us. You could most definitely hear a pin drop.
"So, Slash and you are a thing now?" Kaden asks after multiple minutes of complete and utter silence.
I feel heat rushing to my cheeks as thoughts of me and Slash fill my head.
"Um..well-"
"Never mind, sorry. I shouldn't have asked that." Kaden butts in and looks out into the distance ahead of us.
Shaking my head I sigh, "No no. It's fine."
Kaden mutters something under his breath, along the lines of 'whatever'.
I stuff my hands into my pocket and sit down once we reach the small café.
Kaden raises an eyebrow questioningly at me and gestured inside the building.
"Aren't we sitting inside?"
"I guess," I mutter and stand up quickly. Rushing past him as to claim a table.
He chuckled behind me and sits across from me after I had claimed a table.
"Listen, I want to start out by saying-"
"Hello, my name is Brenda! I will be your waitress today. Can I start you off with any drinks?" Brenda asks cheerfully and stares at Kaden.
Kaden clears his throat, "Uh, I will take some orange juice please?"
Brenda nods and scribbles down at her notbook, sending him a wink.
She turns to me with a huff and roll of eyes. But, once she catches a good glimpse of me, she straightens up.
"Y-You're Adaliz right? Slash's girl? I'm so sorry Miss for the disrespect! I-"
"Don't worry about it. I just want some coffee." I say feeling extremely disrespected.
She nodded her head viciously and turns away, walking towards the kitchen.
"So, as I was saying. I wanted to inform you that," he grabs ahold of my hand across the table.
"I still have feelings for you, Adaliz. And-" Kaden explained, getting cut off.
The doorbell rings and in comes someone with stomping feet.
Whoever that person was, he sure was angry.
"Adaliz?!?"
I felt my eyes widened at the sound of the all to familar voice.
A hand bangs down on the table, making me flinch back.
My eyes follow the hand up and stick into his face.
"S-Slash..."
