*Pattie's POV* (Justin's mom)
I hummed lightly on the song that was playing on the radio, filling the tupperware with homemade spaghetti with meatballs that my best friend's favorite and her beautiful daughter. I finished packin the food and i put it inside the eco bag, i walked out of the kitchen and towards the front door garbbing the car keys from the hook.
"Justin, are you ready?" I called out to my son.
"Yeah, yeah" i heard him grumpily said, stomping down the stairs.
I scowl at him "Justin, i told you to dress up nicely" i looked at his outfit and he is wearing a simple black v-neck shirt and a ripped jeans that hungs low on his hips, with a black vans.
"And 'nicely' means this" he said, gesturing to his outfit.
"That is not what i meant, by 'nicely' means dressed up fancy"
"Why would i dressed up like i'm going to a prom? I don't need to impress anyone, and i don't even want to go there" he huffed, crossing his arms stubbornly.
"Justin, i've been friends to Melanie since we were kids, and you've seen them millions of times, how come you not like her and her beautiful daughter?"
"I can say i like your best friend, she's a wonderful woman. But that daughter of her, i don't know what is up to her ass" he rolled his eyes.
"Language, young man. She's beautiful and all grown up now, which you haven't experience before. You need to grow up cause you are not a teen anymore" i said, grabbing his arm and pulling him out of the house and to my car.
"Yeah, i'm aware of that. And i am old enough to make my own decisions Mom" he sighed, hopping in the car. I got in the drivig seat.
"But the decisions you were making was not a decision that a man would make" i pointed.
"I've grown, Mom. I'm just still young at heart" he pressed his hands over his chest.
"Whatever, just please be nice to Jelexie" i almost begged.
"I am nice. The only problem is her attitude. Plus, i still can't get over her weird name" he snickered
"Being rude to her wasn't nice, that's why she's pulling on the attitude to you that you were giving to her. If you had been friendly the first time, she wouldn't dislike you"
"I don't really care if she doesn't like me. I could careless. In fact, i don't care about anyone" he flailed his arms.
I just sighed, and after a few minutes we reached lur destinations and step out of the car. I walked up on the porch and reached the door, i rang the bell and waited for them to answer. I looked behind me to see Justin trying to open the cardoor and i'm assuming is to escape and drive back home. He can't, i have the keys.
"Justin!" I hissed, he looked at me and throw his head back in annoyance. He walked up to me with a scowl on his face.
"I don't want to see that bitch's face again" he groaned and i immediately pinch his arm hard, making him winced in pain and jumped back away from me.
"Language! If you don't behave tonight, you are grounded" i threatened.
"Pfft, i'm 22 years old, not a kid. You can't ground me" he crossed his arm.
