No amount of blinking would be able to help my brain make sense of what my eyes were seeing. Was I even seeing right? Was this really happening??? What's wrong you may ask? Whats wrong is that a body is currently towering over me staring directly into my eyes. Why is this so bad you may ask? Well it wouldn't be so bad if said person wasn't inside of my room, uninvited, at 3am in the bloody morning!!!!
"Are you serious?" I couldn't help but ask him. Said person grinned.

"No puff, stay!" I instructed my little mutt. Like always the pampered pooch vocalized her displeasure at being left alone once again. I made a kissy sound at her before closing and locking the front door to my apartment. After I was sure everything was locked up tightly I slid the apartment key under the welcome mat. I wouldn't have to do this if my brother wasn't such an ill-responsible man. He's lost three sets of keys for my apartment in less than six months.
My brother is currently 18 and lives with me, his older brother. I moved out after I came out to our folks that I was Gay and they spazzed out on me. My brother followed shortly after 3 years later after he broke the news to them that he was dropping out of school. Thus resulted in them giving him the boot and him crawling to me. I gave him only one ultimatum: If he didn't finish school he at least had to get a job to help out on rent. Brother or not money didn't grow on trees and I couldn't work, go to school, pay rent and feed him all in the same lifetime without some help.
Thus is the story on how my little brother came to be my roommate. Or at least a leech that didn't know when to leave.

I was halfway to work when I peered inside the alleyway that was right next to my place of work. Like always I noticed a mop of spiky blonde hair moving about further down within the alley. I didn't honestly know who this guy was but all I did know was that he was always here, within the alley. What he did in that alley has alluded a lot of us. For the most part he's never actually done anything suspect all he mostly did was just paced the length of the alley.
No sooner had I stepped into the mouth of the alley way did his head shoot up and his dark blue eyes meant my brown ones. His face was void of any expression almost giving him a jaded appeal. Realizing my unsubtle rudeness I cast a small smile to the ground and marched right on into my job readying myself for the busy day to come.
To my surprise it was not busy within the cafe today. In fact it was dead. Real weird considering how close the cafe was to the university that I attended. Lots of college students made the cafe their main hotspot to hangout at thus resulting in the place always being busy and crowded. But not today. In fact by the time it was time for my lunch break my boss was instructing me to throw out some old food that had been left setting out too long.
Now my boss Genos was a pretty sleazy guy, didn't care what he put in his customers mouth so long as they put in his pocket. He also didn't give a crap what went on in his cafe so long as his cash register was left undisturbed. Me and a few of my workmates gave him the nickname Mr. Krabs from Spongebob Squarepants to which he was fully aware of.
Doing as told I have an entire tray of old stale sandwhiches that I'm getting ready to chuck in the dumpster when a body comes into my peripheral vision nearly scaring the daisy dickins out of me.
"Aye nah!" I said nearly jumping thirty feet back. I was surprised to see the same mysterious alley dweller lurking near me. I would have thought he would of been gone by now. Strangely enough his eyes weren't on me but on what I held in my hand. His eyes darted from the tray of old food I was holding to the dumpster I was about to throw it in. A frown marred his face as those same dark eyes rose to meet my confused brown ones.
